At the 4wheel truck parts show a couple weeks ago we spoke to the hypertech rep. They have no plans to do anything for the Titan, sad to say.

You know I heard that too and it's sad. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything but I truly believe that the bigger companies like Hypertech and Superchips are in the big three's pocket when it comes to stuff like this. If I was Dodge, I'd definately want to do everything I could to keep someone from making a programmer for the Titan that is already smoking HEMI's from coast to coast. :)

You want the ISO interface.

This unit will read out everything and reset codes but I don't think you can reset any items such as speed limiter, shift points, timing, etc. I have a similar unit. It is very handy to check out things, but you can't reprogram with it.

Nail on the head! :beating:

This would just seem to leave the door wide open for other companies, though.....what is taking so loooong?? Is the japenese ecu code tougher to crack than the US ones? :grrr:

Yeah actually the CAN system that we use is a bit more complex than what the Big 3 have out there now.

My Audi used a CAN system and I have the program to read and write with that. I wonder if it's compatible with the Titan? Not that anybody would know any of the codes anyway! :)
