Yea!!! My local Nissan dealership says it can send my ECU out for a performance upgrade for about 30 more HP!!!! Downside, it cost $700.00. I guess not to bad since it will probably spit its rubbers in the Dodge Viper Trucks eyes, after a few more upgrades from there. Yea!!! I will let you all know how it works out. :twisted:

Interesting! Usually the dealer is the "bad guy" that tsk-tsks over us modding with our toys ... Be sure to keep us posted. Too much horsepower is never enough.

Great news for your first post. How long have you had your truck? You should fill in your personal data so we know where you're from. What dealer and where do they send it?

It would also be beneficial to do a before/after dyno just to make sure you are getting all the ponies your dealership is advertising!!

I bet you're right about this being Jet.....although it would surprise me for a dealer would be even remotely involved with a performance re-flash of the ecu. That's why I wanted to know the dealer name so I could call them.

maybe their doing this like they r-tune/s-tune parts where this will void ur warranty and/or limit your warranty, in that sense i can see the dealer doing that, i mean then they dont have to take responsibility for w/e occurs. i dunno for osme reason im hung on warranties........lol

I suppose if you're doing through the dealership it should be pretty safe. I'd probably want something in writing from them as far as the warranty is concerened. Good find though, we'll all be anxious to hear how it works out.

i asked my dealer about nismo parts and if they warrentied them and they told me no. they did say they would order them for me and install them though, buttheads :evil:

good call......see i told ya, im scared to do ne thing to my truck that would void my damn warranty...i mean for a beauty like that...i wont take chances. Also tailgate on my truck has a small dent abot te "5.6 LE" symbol, i didnt hit ne thing and ive never seen anyone close to my truck so what the heck....
