: gas cap? alohaarg 10-05-2004, 07:23 AM why they did no put a key to lock it? what you guys have done to protect your turcks? my dealer said do not use any other cap cause the engine light wil come out and they will have to reset it :x NateL 10-05-2004, 09:01 AM As long as you get a matching locking gas cap(either vented or unvented) you shouldn't ever get a check engine light as long as you get it on tight. I believe the titan would use a vented cap, but don't qoute me on that. Personally, I don't worry enough about it to think about locking mine. If someone wants to take the effort to syphon out my gas, they can have it.
