Hey all- i think we're a bit out numbered on this site- but figured i'd throw my 2 cents in for those up in the Northeast- been to a couple dealerships up around here, recentely too (looking to trade in 4x2 for 4x4)- Bought original at Nissan Carmax of White Marsh, MD- great prices, good trade ins, and can be in and out with the new truck in hours-

went to poughkeepsie nissan first- talk about a run around- they were horrible- even with NADA and KBB print outs- as well as listings from other dealerships- they insisted that the 1000 buck off MSRP deal they were giving me was gonna cost them their job, because management would be upset that i was getting that great of a deal... please...

Save your time- travel a little extra and go to Bruce Bennent Nissan (wilton, CT)- what a turn-around. They will truly treat you right, and try to help you out every which way they can- i looked at the same truck, same options- 4 grand price difference between the two dealerships- no lie. Would have bought from there too- only flaw was they have no use for a 4x2- so their trade in was about 2500 less than i was expecting... looks like i'm headed back to MD some weekend...

You got it done there for nothing? Did you have to give them instructions, or did they have their heads screwed on straight? I was going to try my dealer in West Springfield but if I get a run-around, a little road trip down route 7 might work.

Middletown Nissan, deal with Edzer! First time I called got a guy named Steve and after the first call/talk he never called back after leaving a bunch of messages for him. At that point I got pissed and called one more time and this guys Edzer was cool and got them to match a very very low price and give me good $$ on my trade in. I made sure to let Steve know he missed the sale. ;-)

i had something like this happen to me when i got my truck was shopping around went to about like three different dealers, seemed to me some of them didnt even want to make a sale went back to original one which was amity nissan. great experience buying truck and great service too. i enede up calling one of the guys that was giving me hard time trying to buy truck kept on telling me no one can give me price that i was quoted from amity, had to rub it in his face and let him know that they lost sale.
