Here's an article comparing 3 different air intakes. However, this is done on a F150. Very interesting results.

Hmm after reading that article is there anyone that is thinking of opening that hole up anymore in their wheel well to pull more cool air through. I had thought of doing it before but was scared to cut on the metal in case I swapped it out for the oem when I trade it for an 06. LOL
One other thing though. They allowed only 20 minutes after installing each kit before dyno testing. That is not enough time is it?

I would think about 1-2 HP Maximum, but I dunno...I wonder how these compare to the 77 series I have, being thatit's wide open and not 50 state legal...

I know exactly what you're talking about. The Volant hole didn't exactly match up with the fender hole. I don't think it would hurt to enlarge the hole because the factory box had a sleeve that fit through it. I'll probably go ahead and cut it out the next time I'm under the hood installing the spacer, when I buy it.
