I forget what I paid but mine folds out once (all alluminum) and is PLENTY wide enough for our 700's to ride up on. I have others but this is the easiest and quickest one we have found to use.

Good luck !

damn..those are good deals...maybe ill just get some 2x6 to get it in and out this weekend and order those bi folds up

metro motorsports wanted 180 for a pair of 5 foot ramps or 180 each for the 8 footers...

I felt like I was ripped by the dealer but I did buy my quad last minute. I went in to look and they just happen to have a black 2005 honda 450r. Oh well that was back in april 2005 and its all paid off. I am always glad when someone else can get a better deal.

dude...two of my friends are finance managers at motorcycle dealerships.

everybody gets ripped off.

they just turned 30, one in vegas has an M3 with lots of goodies, an escelade to tow his polaris ranger and some nice guns and a decent house

the other one in AZ has a 4500 sq ft house, a 745il, a denali and nice 28 foot magic behind it

everybody gets ripped at a dealership...lol

I got my bi-fold (made by Fulton) at Home Depot (might have been Lowes, but not positive) in the mower section.....

Click Me (http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS/EN_US/diy_main/pg_diy.jsp?CNTTYPE=PROD_META&CNTKEY=misc%2fsearchResults.jsp&BV_SessionID=@@@@0993457646.1164717199@@@@&BV_EngineID=cchdaddjhkdjlimcgelceffdfgidglm.0&MID=9876) to go see Home Depot's selection ... ok, the link doesn't find the ramps, just put "ramp" in the search box in the upper right corner.

I truly think bi-fold is the way to go and now seeing that somone like
95Wolverine using the same set up kind of settles that thought in my mind. Our bi-folds (when folded up) slide right between the tires on our Polaris 700's, therefore, it already has an quick and esy place to store while trailing our 4 ATV's.

Speaking of which 95 .... is it stupid to bring 4 Wheelers up in the snow, when we venture on up to MI in a couple weeks ?? Just curious ?

I agree... Bi-fold is nice as you can put them between the wheels of most quads - notice I said most as some of the sport quads rear skid plates are so low that they won't fit.

I know he said something about a ranger so a Single fold might work as well.. this is an instance where you take the truck, the Quad/ORV to lowes and do a trial fitting in the parking lot.

Another thing to think about is purchases on down the road - will he be buying a quad later and want to store the ramps under it and not the ranger?

T... if yer up for pulling a trailer the entire way, I'd do it. Although, I'm not sure if the Dunes will be open. On the flip side of that, There are 3100 miles of quad trails here in MI.... and almost all of them can be shared with sleds. If you are serious, I'll do a bit of asking aroud and find out what will be close to your final destination and get some opinions for you.

i picked up a set of 6 foot ramps from harbor freight for 40.

they had a bifold for 59 and a tri fold for 75..i would have went with the trifold but im not sure if 44" is wide enuff for what im hauling.

Hmmm. I might take you up on that offer. Hey, as far as bi-fold ... ours just opens once 9not twice) so is ours consider a single fold (lol). it doesnt matter, just curious. It only has one hinge in the middle of it.

Yep... a single fold is nice, but they are less likely to fit under many quads. I'll bet yours just barely fits between the wheels on the insides?

Then again, maybe since you have a trailer, you are putting them under your quad in a "T" fashion (pun intended). lol. what I'm saying is that I put my quad in the back of the truck and then slide the ramps under the quad lengthwise.
