Ok Guys, it's that time again, we need to start getting the Biggest North East Meet Planned for this Year, a few things to note about this year.

The Event will be Held at our Nissan of Turnersville Location, but this time it will be in Front of the Dealership, This way the Parts Boutique will only be a few steps away, instead of last years shuttle system.

Nissan North America will be represented at the Dealership this year, we are Having this meet alot later than last Year,
This Years meet will be Held on Saturday July 21st 2007

I would hope to AT LEAST Double the attendance of last year, I had a lot of Guys say they really wished they would have went, well here's your chance to get the timing down.

I will contact my Vendors, and You guys know that I have the BEST Raffles! There will be all kinds of Giveaways and of course we can get the Timing Advance Booth going, as well as some new surprises.

This was a HUGE Success last year, and I hope that you guys will help me spread the word, this will be a NISSAN Meet, not just a Titan Meet but you guys are always the largest group in attendance, and of course that will be of consideration when we ask our vendors for some freebies.

Date is set for July 21st

Also our New TEST Track is Completed, I don't think the off road track will be done by then, but that is also a Possibility.
Maybe we can combine a Paragon Meet or something too, but of course I would want the Picnic at the Mall to be the Showcase Event.

Let me hear your Input... I want Ideas, Dates, and if you know of a Vendor who might want to be Involved, Call them up, give them my number, I am always open to Bring on Other Vendors for Exposure.

I also need to know what companies you would like to see there, we have time to contact them, and see if they can send a Represenative out.

Yeah, let's shoot to wheel the day after. Dates don't really matter to me at this point, but I'd suggest picking two consecutive weekends.

There's a couple of campgrounds close to the park, and I think it's about a 2 hour drive to/from Turnersville, so out of towners can camp Friday night, meet in NJ on Sat, camp ground again Sat night combined with a BBQ, then Wheel Sunday morning.

The remote start was a pretty hot item last year. The other raffle items were all great as well.

I missed out on this last year, but since then, good friends have moved from here to Jersey and will be having a little one any day now.

That being said, my wife was totally game for driving over so I can attend this meet and she (and our 2yr old) can go visit and spend time with the new baby.

This will likely constitute a week of vactation so getting the date set early is paramount!

I'm pretty pumped about it already and it's still 6 months away!

That is just what I was thinking...I live 5 miles away, but trying to head east on a Jersey shore route on Memorial Day Weekend could be brutal for some of the folks that are already driving quite a distance to join us. I've been down that road, and it wasn't fun.

I think the weekend of the 19th is MUCH better than the holiday weekend. But you make a good point about still being close to Memorial Day.

I thought last year worked out REALLY well. With the meet at the beginning of the month, it left enough time for some of the NE people to attend both the meet and then the off-road trip the 3rd weekend of the month. This logic may also apply to folks who are trying to travel on Memorial Day (personally I would NEVER, but to each his own :p).

I've no problem with a sales pitch. Brian sold me about $100 worth of stuff, cash, on the spot. I know I'm not the only one who bought stuff.

We almost didn't show up last year. We drove around the dealership for about 15 minutes, and I was about to give up and leave when Kristin spotted the dyno at the gate. I know that this year, he's said we'll be right out front, which is fine with me.

Hopefully the dealership takes the time to properly promote the event too. It boggles the mind having 40-50 modified trucks on the lot. You like one of those there, well let me sell you a brand new '07 and the mods to make it look just like that!

Currently, I am debating on whether or not to bring my new 27' travel trailer with me for this meet... I could just park it @ the dealership and I could save on the hotel. I could also stay with my brother-in-law in Voorhees too but this would be much more fun!

I've managed to round up interest with at least 5 Michigan and 1 Kentucky Titan owners who are planning on driving out to NJ with me to this meet. There is nothing like having a bunch of people walking around a Nissan Dealership's parking lot with a ton of TITAN owners that are very enthusiastic about their trucks. Most of the trucks that plan on attending this meet are heavily modified and this gives the chance for the dealership to make money on parts sales.

Brain, do NOT, under any circumstance, punch the new president (I know this hard for you...).

Let me talk with him. Just pull my parts receipts over the past 2 years and tell him it was all because of the 2005 meet. You can also pull the vehicle purchase deal jacket's filed under my last name (there should be 3 of them ;) ).

A Vendor that I would like to see at this meet is Detriot Locker, maker of the Trutrac. I need one!

Some local food vendors selling BBQ Ribs, Turkey Sandwiches, etc would work fine. It doesn't all have to be free to be good to go. I'm flexible. Just give me a reason to be there, like lots of Titans and Titan owners, it's all good...

Can we get Tru Trac installed while we wait??? My local 4x4 shop wants 480 for labor; would love to see a deal on this.

Well, assuming there isn't some stupid kind of law against using a propane grill in a parking lot, I've got a fairly brand new 55,000 btu grill just waiting to be fired up!!! Figure I can crank out about 24 burgers every 5-7 minutes... Hotdogs would probably be more like 30 every 5 minutes.

We can do it ala "Paragon" style and all chip on the supplies.

Maybe we hold the truck show meet/greet then head somewhere else to do the BBQ, etc. No worries.

I just found out my daughters trip to Space Camp is the same weekend. Oh No! I'll have to miss the BIGGEST TITAN MEET on the East Coast!

You like the changes in the 08s? I'm not a fan......but that's just me.

Most of the changes I can live with that I dont like...IE the front clip. I am certain an after market grille will fix the front and maybe I can swap out the corners for 06's to get rid of the square fogs. I do like the new interior and the long bed CC. We have to see what the price tag looks like for a SE CC LB with big tow. I dont like the fender flares either...but hoping that this is an option that can be removed. I'm just not really sure until I see it in person. But a Black one all lifted I think would look just bad ARSE!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

What about the orange headlights? Those won't be a direct swap, the shape looks a little different. It could just be the picture though. Another thing that I wonder about is what posessed Nissan to move the window/door controls down to the center of the door......

I think you'll be really happy with the 08, Amy! I like everything about it. I think the orange headlights are kinda neat. They make the lower part of the light housing more square...more truckish.

Even the things I wasn't sure about, like the fog holes and the upper grille, are growing on me real quick :)

If you get a red one, I'll buy the flares off the truck if they are just taped on, and I'll swap bumper corners and fogs with ya!

I believe Brian was able to secure a group rate at the Holiday Inn in Runnemede, NJ (it's about 5-6 miles from Turnersville Nissan). I think it was $89 a night. However, you may want to book earlier due to availability. PM Brian for more info.

Has anyone contacted UpRev to see if they would be interested? I think for whoever wants the custom tune from them could all split renting a dyno. I would definately be there if they were willing to work something out.

Chicks already contacted UpRev about coming to the Northeast. The maps and dyno tuning will be at least $800 per person, and the process takes a couple of days for a group. Each session is several hours. So it's not something that can be done during a meet.

I’m kind of new to the Titan family. I have been lurking here for some time and I finally bought a Titan to tow my toy with, a 2006 2wd XE. Now I’m really bummed! I live about 20mins from Turnersville Nissan but I won’t be able to make the Nissan meet. I will be at the track that weekend. I guess I can’t complain too much. I was hoping to meet some of the people from Club Titan as well as check out some of the trucks and vendors. I was hoping to get my timing advance done as well. Oh well…

Not sure if I can. I'll be leaving Thurday night and I'll be coming back Sunday night. I'll be at Pocono about 2.5 hours away. I don't get done Saturday until about 5:00pm.
