At 3750 miles the driver seat is caving in (or crushing) on the left side (no, I'm not a big fat-***). I call it the use of cheap materials coupled with a poor design. Anyone else?
To finish the ***** list I'll add:
Driver vent (right) flaps in the breeze.
Rattle from dash - passenger side.
Noise from suspension.
Radio sucks (we all know about that).
No MP3 player? -for 34k?
Brake dust.
Other than these minor things, it's a *****in' truck with lot's of balls and I get noticed everywhere. Plan to add a lift, 20s, pipes - suggestions?

fender flares and tube steps are nice eye candy on the Titan.

the only mods I see done around here are a baby seat, a bunch of grocerys in the back seat, and never anything in the bed that will scratch it. I'm surrounded by yuppies and I hate it. If you don't need a truck, don't buy a truck. Several people in my nieghborhood have Diesel Excursions... and they don't even own a trailer. What is the point of having an Excursion with a diesel in it that will never haul anything more than a few people? I guess its just a status thing, like the people that own Harleys that only see about 2 weekends a year of riding.

Ok seriously though, I think you should get vent visors if you like to drive with the windows cracked all the time like I do. More power never hurts so, the Cold air intake, and exhaust. Maybe the some Nerf bars, but not the factory ones, I don't think they look as good as the round tubes ones on the aftermarket.

I know I bought mine as I need a tow vehicle for my boat. There are times I go a good distance with it, so I want to be comfortable. I love the way my truck looks over any car or suv I have seen. I have quite a bit of snow to deal with in the winter, and lastly, because I wanted it!

I did not buy it to see how quickly I could thrash the life out of it, beat it up in the woods, or with the short bed to be constantly hauling things around.

I used to get people coming into my store all the time when I worked parts with a 1 ton dually with the biggest motor availible looking for ways to improve mileage. I'd ask them if they ever hauled anything, or pulled a trailer most of them would say no. I'd be more than happy to take thier money from them, but I'd usually jokingly suggest that they should have bought a Honda if they were that worried about mileage and never hauled anything.

There's a recall for the radio; I found the TSB on FreshAlloy.com. (I thought I was going crazy , or the station was having transmitter problems.)

Yep, brake dust & lots of it! try the orange-colored-bottle of Eagle wheel & tire cleaner; apply liberally, at least once a week.
