Hi All,
Just got back from visiting friends and in-laws in Alabama.
My wife is originally from Dothan, which is where we spent most of our time.
Got to see Auburn win!!! My buddy was not happy. Got to do some fishing and enjoyed the fine weather! Got to ride out with my buddies at Dothan Fire, well I did work with them for a short time.
But what struck me the most was how many Titans are on the road down there! Many more than Dodges!
I did see some fine lifted trucks that made me green with envy. Too bad Jersey makes it a hassle to lift a vehicle.
Anyway, only another 10 years to go before we can move down there!
See ya'll next year at Christmas!

My girlfriend is from Blakely GA ...it's about 20 minutes from Dothan. Once she finishes Vet school here at Auburn(2 more years) we will be moving to Blakely. My cousins also own the Chevrolet dealership in Dothan(Soloman Chevrolet).

I'll tell ya, what a great place the south is. I enjoyed sweet tea and boiled peanuts. We were down for Thanksgiving and some of my wifes family can cook!!! I ended up cooking the turkey and mixed a concoction of olive oil and various spices for a turkey rub. We had a good time!
One morning I was waiting for friend of mine to come pick me up so we could go fishing. As I was waiting about a dozen complete strangers waved at me and with all fingers up to boot! Yep, some fine people.

I miss the South...I curse the day I moved from Virginia to New Jersey!!! NJ is the only place I've ever lived that fellow residents ask me WHY I came here...LOL :p
I don't even know what NJ lift laws are...I just lifted it as high as I wanted :D Nothing like a four year inspection sticker :)

HHMMM must be nice to have friends in DMV!!! :-)
As to your first statement, I do that all of the time.
I spent the day at the State House yesterday listeneing to testimony on a possible Constitutional Amendment. It seems someone from Hudson County has the brilliant idea that revamping the Farmland Asessment Act will solve are huge Property Tax problem!!! problem is that there are no farms in Hudson County, unless you consider the swamp land around Giants Stadium farmland.

haha actually I don't know anyone at the DMV! I was talking about my 4 year new vehicle inspection. I would lift my truck no matter what though...it's worth making some temporary changes every time inspection comes around. Plus with my first Titan lifted almost eight inches, I never had any problems with the fuzz or anything.

I think most cops really don't mind, unless they pull you over and give them major attitude. As a last remember, you would have to go for a stability test. There were only two places in the state you could go. One in Bergen and one in Ocean and DON'T YOU DARE BE LATE!!!! A buddy of mine was late 15 minutes when going to the one up north and they busted his chops.
