Just got an '04 SE today. I would like to install a mini-itx computer under one of the front seats. It will be operated via a 7" touchscreen and used for navagation, music, internet, etc etc. I am not going to be installing the touchscreen in the dash but instead will teather it to the computer so the passanger can hold it like a PDA.

Anyway, the computer will run from a 60 watt DC-DC intelligent power supply that will automatically bring the computer in/out of suspend mode when the truck is started or stopped. All the power supply needs is a direct 12 volt connection. The cigarette lighters in the back won't work; they shut off when the key is turned off.

Where's the best place to get this direct 12-volt connection without having to tear the truck apart?

Next question, is there any way to tap directly into the stock stereo (not the Fosgate upgrade) without using the aux in on the front? I realize this part may require tearing the truck apart.

Welcome to the club!

The Fuse panel is below the Dash on the Passenger's side, or, the 12v socket on the front (Driver's side) is always hot. (Passenger front is Switched)

I've got the AUX port, so can't help in THAT Department. Good Luck!!

Did you get a bench or buckets? I think the power outlet in the console of the bench is always hot.

I have the bench seats and tested the outlet in the console today. It's switched. :(

For audio, I was hoping maybe there was a way to tap into the SAT input on the HU.

OT, today was my first full day with the Titan. I'm suprised to get comments from strangers on how nice the truck looks. Here in the Deep South, trucks are everywhere but there is something about the Titan that people notice.
