Guys, I live in Tampa and am drastically lusting for some off roadin'. I know that Ocala has some pretty decent spots (been there with several other Fla. guys too), but I don't really feel like driving an hour and a half for a couple spots that we know we're allowed at.

Anyone in the Clearwater/Tampa/St. Pete area know of some good mudholes or some good "dirt-throwin'" spots? I'd love to meet up with a group of guys and hang out, doin' some wheelin' :)

It takes me 35 min to get to Tampa, Its exit 301/ hwy 50

LOL. Are you really trying to not take your truck out in the mud anymore?? I don't know how long you could possibly do that, haha.

Here's a story... I pulled into my buddy's gas station a few days ago and this young po po was starring at my truck. I got a complex...what am I too loud? bumper to high? Why the heck is he starring at my truck??!! He got into his cruiser before I got out of the truck and never said anything to me. So I asked my buddy about the guy. He said that cop has a thing about loud mufflers and anything else he can nap you on. So I almost went home and lowered my truck and took the Flo off. Yesterday my truck was in my buddies garage at the station...he was cleaning up some cuts I made on my coil buckets....and in walks this cop...WITH A TAPE MEASURE!! I almost died! Anyways...it turns out it was all a joke...the cop was a friend of my buddy and they were setting me up with the tape. So after I rattled off the legal bumper heights assurring him I was more than legal I asked him why he was starring at my truck the other day.

He said...."I almost pullled you over a few weeks ago because I felt the mud all over your truck was dangerously blocking your view(kind of like the tint theory) I couldn't see your tag number because of the mud, but then I got a call and couldnt pull you that day. Since then I was looking out for your truck to give you a warning. When you pulled up I was amazed that the truck was so clean I had to stare!! I lost my opportunity to warn ya about the mud. I was bummed!"

Never knew that too much mud could be illegal!!! So another reason to ban mud!
