Has anyone .... used these Autodry Carwash Kits that advertise they eliminate drying and water spotting by filtering the rinse water?

Are they worth the money?

TIA

I use last years version, it does work. The products run out pretty quick. You get about 3 or 4 washes out of them. and the you have to buy the refill kit for about have the price.

Hey Ralph, my son purchased one several months ago and they work great. I use it for just rinsing sometimes to get the filtered water. That is really all you need to keep it from spotting after a good washing. I have had a little luck in getting a more use out of the filters by reversing them in the unit. After they turn brown on one side reverse them and run the filters till they turn brown on the other. (you will have to drill a small hole in the top for the line up pin to fit in.) This is not as effective but it sure gives you more uses out of the filters. Hope this helps!

I just bought one a few weeks ago and it works awesome.
You still have to scrub (they gie you a mitt), but the water filter spot free rinse is the kicker. That thing works awesome. One suggestion, when or if you buy it, buy an extra filter and some more of their soap. They only give enough to get started in the kit. I also bought and used Meguire's NXT Generation Tech Wax (isn't cheap, $15 a bottle). But, it works incredible.
It really makes the truck shine. I used it on my wife's 2 year old Sequioa and it looks like a brand new car.
Drive safe,

Have had the old version for a while now and it works great. New version is supposed to have more pressure behind it. Def needed more pressure then old system gave ya.

I was all excited about it until I went to BiXll's link. We've got some really hard water here and it would take a decent filter to remove all the deposits. Installed a water softener on the house and it helps alot but still have to jump right on the truck with a towel or it's gone.

Thanks to all... I ran the search results as posted and see there were mixed results in usage. A new unit has been marketed and was not covered by the folks responding to the previous post.

It ws nice to see both sets of comments, the old and the new. Like so many products, some swear by them and some swear at them

I appreciate all the responses.

edited to correct mis-spelling.
