I had the truck in for the trailer wiring recall and also had them check on my interior lights not working. The dealer said they thought the way my camper shell was wired caused a fuse to blow. The shell is direct wired to the top of the battrey with its own fuseable link. How could this cause my lights to blow a fuse? so the dealer put a 30 amp fuse with a 10 amp below it. the correct fuse is a 15 amp in both slots. So now the lights dont work and the fuse is good? Has anyone else had issues with the interior lights not working?

Something doesn't sound right. If you've got a dedicated circuit for your camper with it's own fuse it shouldn't effect your othere fuses. Let me go have a cup of coffee and think some more about this one....

What's there to think about? The dealer will blame anything to get away from servicing your truck.:D

This is true. Ok, I'm back. Gosh, I don't care if it is a monopoly, starbucks makes a mean cup of coffee. I would try and disconnect your camper lighting completely from the battery and take it back to it's original state. Then if your cab lights keep going out you'll know it's not the campers fault. Then you take your truck in again, and tell them to suggit!

Which lights don't work in the cab? Is it the dash lights, or all the lights?
If it's just dash lights, take your thumb and turn the dimmer knob back and forth a couple of times. The contacts on them oxidize over time and moving them helps to clean it off.

I'm interested to know the outcome of this. I have a small issue with the interior light on the passenger side - it works sometimes and not others. Also one time the lights on my a/c flickered on and off, and then off. They came back on fine when I started the truck again. I haven't really thought much about it - other than I'm getting close to my factory warranty expiring.

Its just the courtesy lights in the doors and the overhead ones. The strange thing is I replaced the fuse and it did not fix it. I think it may be a fuseable link at the battery? The problem with just disconnecting the shell is the 3rd brake light I think I will do it anyway.. The shell could be the issue it some times locks itself. I have the lock that is electronic so you can unlock the shell with the fob. It will randomly lock the truck on its own. It will also lock my wifes car if its near by ( I have both on the same code)

I am having a similar problem with the interior map and door lights on my 05 Crew Cab. Two days ago the fuse blew, put a new one in and it blew too, as did the next fuse I put in. Trucks in great condition, low milage (22K) and I have had no electrical issues with it since buying it last Oct. (from CarMax). Anyone have any ideas on how I should go about troubleshooting this before I need to deal with the dealer?
On a similar note, has anyone had an issue with the fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse panel cover being incorrect? The fuse indicated for my interior lights is not the fuse thats blowing. The fuse that is blowing is the one indicated for my cruise control, which is working just fine.
