After reading about some of the differential issues, I wanted to make sure that my fluid was full and fresh. I bought non synthetic fluid before I realized that synthetic is required. This should be okay for a few weeks shouldn't it? I will get some synthetic and replace it soon, but I just wanted some reassurance that it would be okay for now. Thanks.

I don't think anyone can answer that question. Its all gonna be opinionated. I assume it would be fine, but there's a reason why the engineers specify certain products. Good luck bro!
I would change it just to be safe....

If you didn't already put it in, don't. The synthetic is much slipperier than non-synthetic, also, it's much "stronger" meaning it will take a greater load to "crush" the oil particles

Due the problems experienced by '04 owners with differential problems, Nissan changed over to a finned differential cover and synthetic fluid.
I can't see why you would want to risk going with the non-synthetic fluid when you should be able to exchange it for the proper fluid (plus more money of course).

Well, I'm not permanently going to non-synthetic, it's just temporary. I guess I'm just using the non-synthetic as a draining/rinsing agent and will be replacing it with synthetic tonight.
