Word or WARNING!!!!!DO NOT overtighten the bolt that goes down in the bottom of the Volantbox. I did this and RIPPED the nut right out of the metal. I had to undo the inner fender plastic enough to get my hand in there and put a washer with the nut on the backside.

Maybe I shoud not have used the 3/4 drive ratchet. Oops.

I did take it for a little test drive and found I also have the vibration noise that comes from the dash. I only heard it under heavy acceleration though and only around 3000 rpm. I will have to drive it on the highway to see if it still exists under normal operating conditions.

While we're on the subject of "Overtightening" DO NOT use an air ratchet to tighten the bolts holding the front skid plate on. Don't ask me how I know this.

haha, I am a firm beleiver of "tighten till broke, then back off a 1/4 turn" lol :D I also have my Volant waiting for me to put it in. I am sure glad I got a great price on a new used one though. I think the over all quallity is subpar for the price they charge. :?

Not yet. It doesn't appear to be bothersome or annoying unless I am getting on it hard. Then it only lasts a few seconds and is gone. It has been a hectic weekend and I don't have much play time.

Refresh my memory, where did you say to install it? I think you said fender where the air inlet is. Mine is NOT touching the metal there. The bottom of the CAI is the only part touching metal.
