The time for the meet will be 1:00pm to whenever. The location is the same as in the past. It will be in Memorial Park at the location shown in the attachment below.
As always feel free to bring wives, husbands, and kids. I'd also like to see more cameras flashing away this time. It seems we always have great meets and few pictures to bring for posting. Anyway, those are the details and the attendee list is below as well as the food list. If you're planning on making it please chime in and gimme the word and I'll add you to the list. Also if you're planning on bringing food, please choose something from the list and I'll add your name to that as well.
I hope to see all of you there!

Please remember that everyone is responsible for bringing your own drinks. Also as a park rule, please no glass bottles.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!! THE LOCATION FOR THE MEET WILL BE IN THE NEW (THE PARKING LOT THAT WE MET IN LAST TIME) LOCATION! UNFORTUNATELY, IT ISN'T SHOWN ON MAPQUEST BUT FOR NEWCOMERS THE MAP SHOWN WILL WORK FOR GETTING YOU TO THE GENERAL AREA. ONCE THERE JUST START LOOKING AROUND FOR A GROUP OF TITANS. SHOULD YOU HAVE PROBLEMS, PM VSHORTT FOR A CELL PHONE NUMBER.
This link will provide a map that shows where we will be and you can also customize it to fit your needs:

We are in but Mrs. said she does not want to commit to anything on the list until it gets closer and depending on weather. Cold and wet don't cut it. There should be some stuff left from the last meet if someone had the space to store it. We need a meetin hall to keep all the club stuff with a nice built in grill and cover. Over complicating aint I? See you at the park.

Now that the food list is complete, I'd say anyone else who'd like to bring something should bring something that can go on the pit. It appears we're gonna have quite a few more than we usually have. Keep in mind that the names you see are only members. Many will bring family members as well and we don't want anyone going hungry.

hey havock, what do you think about posting this meet on the armada forum since we're pretty much the same truck...Let me know if you think it's a good idea, and I'll post it on CA.
The Armada guys I know from CA know to look here for meet info. I will make a post over there asking them to come to this thread. It can get abusive jumping through all the forums to keep up with the threads.

OK, signed up at CA, and found out the BBF already took care of this. Thanks BBF!

Think we can bust 40 trucks?!?!?! What's the most Titans ever at a meet yet? Not just Houston, lets go for a record!
If I bring my XMOD does that count as another truck present?
Do I have to create a separate login for the XMOD to count in the roll call?
I think they had around 70-80 trucks at the Socal meet last week.

1. Anyone know of a really cheap motel within 10 or 15 miles of the meet?

2. Anyone volunteering their driveway and hose so I can clean er up a little before the meet Sunday morning?

==== new thought ================================================== ===

Here's my goal. An address book of Titan/Armada/Frontier owners coming to the Houston meet. I will eventually expand it to anyone that wants to participate. And, eventually, it will be available on a website TBD. Any field is optional, like last name or phone numbers. This is a trial effort, and I'll see where it goes...

Great News for your SirStrider. There are no less then 100 hotels within the area you requested. I would HIGHLY recommend not staying at the cheap ones. I would suggest maybe a little towards the west side near Katy for safety. The Galleria/Downtown/Southside has nice places by day, not somewhere you really want to be at night without a crowd. You can go about 10 miles west of the meet and be right off the freeway in Katy area, or off 290 same/same, or I45 same/same.

As regards to the hose, I got one up north or you can get one heck of a detail for a reasonable price.

This is also posted in a separate thread in the "For Sale" forum...

I have been thinking of selling my bakflip bed cover. Its a great cover, and I like it a lot, I just don't use it very much at all, and would like to start saving for a trutrac.

The cover has been on for approximately 8 months, and is for a crew cab. It has some minor scratches on the metal from normal wear and tear, but you have to look very close to find them. I armor all the cover every other week, so it looks great with no fading at all, and the rubber around the edges is in perfect shape, with no cracking whatsoever.

For those that don't know, this cover is a folding hard cover that folds up against the cab for access to 99% of the bed for use with tall objects.

I would prefer to keep this in Houston or immediately surrounding areas, as shipping this thing would be a nightmare.

This cover does require flipping utilitrac rails if you have them, but I've got the torx bit and an impact wrench that makes quick work of this otherwise VERY painful process, and I will gladly help install it.

New, these go for around $550 to $600, I will offer it up for $300, firm, with help installing it if any one is interested.

Jaho1979

Does that take away from the Utili-trac much? Doesn't look like it does.........just thought I would ask!It lowers the rails about two inches, but they are still as strong as stock IMO. The bed extender still works, but I would imagine the divider gate would not. The tool box obviously would not since it sticks up above the bed sides.

How well does it seal & does it flop when you are driving down the road?It seals VERY well for a non solid cover. Even in a high pressure car wash, it lets in very little, if any water. I have been very impressed with the weather proofness of this cover. The only leaking I have seen is if the truck sits all day, and water puddles and sits on the cover, but its only a few drops, nothing major at all.

On the highway, it is very solid. You can see a little up/down movement in the rear view, but its very minimal, and no noise at all. Overall, it is very solid.

"Hi, my name is John, do you have any SS Pillars to sell?":weird-big:Go with the "John" idea! We have never set up anything formal since this is by far the largest meet will have ever had. I suppose people could set their wares in the beds of their trucks or something to that effect.

As for my stuff. I'm more worried about someone who really wants it for thier ride rather than resale since I'm just paying it forward.

Maybe we can just say that we will do a swap meet function at 3:30? Before hand we can just lay it out in the grass with a bucket, some paper and pen. If you want it write a name and part and drop it in the bucket. That way at 3:30 those interested can wheel and deal.

Randy posted that he will bring something to the meet to fix it..I think it's just a matter of getting some air into that hose. You should still be under warranty to if you feel more comfortable fixing it at the dealer for free. By the way, I fixed the IMG code in my last post.

ok, just went and checked. mine isnt like that right now but i know it was before. just pull the radiator cap off, while the engine is cold of course and squeeze the hose till the hose is round again, its got a vacuum in the hose that is causing that. mine is fine now, i remember doin that before.

technical explination: coolant was added while the truck was running, therefore the coolant was warm soon after added before the cap was placed on, but not hot enough to scald or whatever.. as that coolant cools down no air is let into the system by the radiator cap. so it creates a vacuum in the system that causes the hose to collapse because it is the only part in that system that can collapse.

ok, back on topic. woot im excited about the meet!!!! wonder who is gonna be the youngest there, mabey me.....

technical explination: coolant was added while the truck was running, therefore the coolant was warm soon after added before the cap was placed on, but not hot enough to scald or whatever.. as that coolant cools down no air is let into the system by the radiator cap. so it creates a vacuum in the system that causes the hose to collapse because it is the only part in that system that can collapse.

ok, back on topic. woot im excited about the meet!!!! wonder who is gonna be the youngest there, mabey me.....I agree 100% with your theory except for one problem. The only known persons with this issue that have posted about a potential fix both posted the same thing. Their caps were likely faulty and since replacing the caps, neither has seen the issue again. Obviously removing the cap would allow air to enter the tube but it would not correct the implosion on its own. After having installed new radiator caps the problem has been rectified.

Mine is imploded every morning of every day. Basically whenever the truck hasn't run for several hours. It's never concerned me because I was already aware of the available information concerning this issue and because my truck has never indicated (via gauges) that is was running hot. Anyway, I'm gonna give your idea a shot. Thanks for posting. I'll let you know how it worked out.

Wife says better to waste on the truck than on the other women.
