As you all know my older brother had a trial awhile back where he had lost close to 80 lbs in just 4 months from what all the experts (and tests) were calling Myeloma (bone cancer).. Many here at CT were praying for him and keeping in close contact with me via PM's.

He is doing great, his back is still tender, but what do you expect when 1/2 of your T9 & T10 were eroded from the infection inside of him. They had to completely rebuild his 2 vertebre by using cadavar parts. He is putting weight back, on and must have gotten on CT one night and was moved by what he saw, and what he read. He now knows why i call you all my 2nd family (lol) and for good reason. BTW ... he and dad went to the 2nd best Myeloma institute in the country .... the University of Arkansas, and after 9 days of testing NO Myeloma.

Jarl mentioned to me the other day that he and his wife would like to come to the next Old Town meet and get to know some of you guys, so for those (and you know who you are) that were keeping him in your thoughts and prayers you will get a chance to meet, greet and see this walking miracle on March 10th. It's looking pretty positive at the moment.

My brother earned the coveted award of Class Witt at Venice High School his senior year, so my goal is to not leave him and Shailey alone for too long. Who knows, they might convert my Titan into a Dodge while my back is turned (lol). Looking forward to a great Meet come March !!!!

Yo T...haven't talked to ya in a while. I'm glad you mentioned you brother b/c he was on my mind the last few days and I was gonna ask how everything was going. He continues to be in my prayers and glad he is making a good recovery, all things considered. I am really wanting to come down to the OT III, just trying to make it all happen. I'm leaving for a vacation on the west coast the 20th so not sure if I can pull it off or not. I'm on Gulf Coast of AL so it would be a little drive, not as much as some of the others I saw that were coming though. I'll let you know when I find out if I can get off work and all. Tell you bro, I asked about him.....

It's not me ... but you guys that make this meet such a fun time. I can HARDLY wait. We have them coming from TN and SC ... now i just wish i could get one from GA and one from AL ... then we would have 5 Southeastern states represented !!!! Either way, the numbers are grand !
