: Interested in a Group Buy on Best Polisher in the World?
gordonwin 04-12-2005, 11:11 PM This is a test run to see if it is worth while to offer our #1 selling dual head, Cyclo Orbital Polisher at a $20.00-$30.00 discount. (We already have it priced lower than our competition) It will include velcro pad holders and pads for polishing and waxing.
The Cyclo is a professional unit, totally idiot proof and will literally change your life! This is NOT a machine you can duplicate over the counter in your favorite discount store. This machine is FUN and it performs like no other polisher ever made.
Ok Guys and Gals, anyone interested in a polisher that will become your favorite tool for life? :madlove:
Here is a link to see the polisher. http://www.topoftheline.com/cyclo-polisher.html We'll offer it for $229.95 which is a steal!
Trogdor 04-13-2005, 08:24 AM What makes this polisher so good?
gordonwin 04-13-2005, 12:24 PM A lot is explained by reading the info at the link, but the Cyclo has been hand machined and assembled since the 50's to mimic hand polishing. It was originally designed to polish aircraft.
It has more low end power than any orbital made. You can press down on the Cyclo and it won't stop. You cannot do this with the Porter Cable!
It not only has oscillating heads, they also rotate.. hence the "dual action" title. The dual heads create perfect balance, keeping it from jerking around as you polish. It is so safe, a child can use it and has a wide range of accessories. (5) different foam pads, wool, (3) different brush heads, Scotchbrite pads, bug pads, microfiber buffing pads, terry, diaper and microfiber bonnets, and soon a complete system of wet sanding disks. You can do just about anything with it on the exterior and interior.
It is one of the most durable machines ever made. Many owners are still using 25-30 year old machines. In fact, I will soon be the owner of #909 ever produced! I am very excited and it will go right on the site with the new Golden Anniversary gold plated Cyclo.
There is nothing like the Cyclo and never will be. It's that simple. Do I love this machine? You bet!
I hope this helps answer your questions. Anyone can email me if you have more questions or call me at the office. 800-533-5743 ext #100

OH man .... that is classic.
Seriously, this thing looks cool - I just need a way to convince my spouse-to-be - and I don't think the above mentioned benefits are gonna do the trick.
Rossi 04-13-2005, 06:58 PM That may be a good selling point for my wife....but then again she might not need me anymore!! But then again.....who is better at operating a power tool then a man!! LoL
boy this thread went bad quicker then the Titan can go in the 1/4 mile
gordonwin 04-13-2005, 07:37 PM Hey guys, it's not me! I didn't say that, the customer is the one to blame. My machine sits in it's appropriate tool box, unused for eons at a time. (Don't ask.. it's not for sale. Someday, I hope to get it out.)
I have a pesonal detailer that comes to the shop. I also have a personal dog detailer that comes to the shop! I'm not spoiled. :noway:

gordonwin 04-17-2005, 11:17 PM ME? They're vultures laying in wait for the innocent!
QShip 04-24-2005, 01:36 PM Sounds good to me. And I'm just talking about the machine. :D
gordonwin 04-24-2005, 04:48 PM Let's see, so far we only have 1 confirmed? Is that right? Need more than that.
I remember several that wanted the polisher for the first GBuy. Are those people still interested?
baja220 04-24-2005, 05:01 PM I may be interested Irene. How close can you get to the black plastic trim on the truck with it? How easy it is to do damage to the finish?
gordonwin 04-24-2005, 05:16 PM The polisher cannot hurt the paint or the vinyl trim. You can actually use the polisher to scrub the trim (it has shampoo brushes) if you want.
You must choose waxes carefully and apply polishes correctly to avoid white streaks on the trim. The polisher has nothing to do with this.
hey Irene, there is some really cool guy asking a question down in your sponsor area!
baja220 04-24-2005, 06:51 PM hey Irene, there is some really cool guy asking a question down in your sponsor area!

grpape 05-16-2005, 04:38 AM I just was wondering what shipping would cost to 96746? I am willing to purchase one if the shipping isn't too much. I also wanted to purchase some other things from your site (swirl remover, back carnuba, etc.). Is there any way to get this price by ourselves? I need to get rid of holograms (black truck), and would like to jump on it asap. Also, would I need to order more pads for the Cyclo? Or is there enough in the package deal (cutting, polishing, etc.)?
aloha, Derrick

Look QShip, we've got another one!!!!!
Derrick, QShip and I have been trying to get 2 more peeps for this buy!! Now, I think we need 1 more. We have to have at least 5 to get that price. I don't know if it comes with enough pads to get the whole job done, but Irene should know how many we need. And she can also tell you how much to ship it there. Try to hold off a little longer!!

Derrick, you should also go to this thread, respond in the thread, and send BiXll your info so it will be official that we now have 4 peeps. This is a great group buy price. You can't get it near this price anywhere else.

1GR84X4 05-16-2005, 06:25 PM I should mention that I got tired of waiting for the group buy to materialize so I just bought one outright. It is a serious piece of equipment and you know it immediately.
I can tell you this about "Top of the Line"...they have a marvelous website and in my case, shipped same day as ordered (twice). They also have a great deal of detailing information and tips on their site and anyone interested in the ultimate vehicle appearance will appreciate.

Sorry if I offend your modesty, Irene...you guys have a 1st class operation and should be very proud of it. This is a nice read:

gordonwin 06-12-2005, 12:13 AM ONE MORE!! Need ONE MORE for Cyclo Group Buy.
Answer to previous question: The shipping is only $75.00! JUST KIDDING.. Actually it runs about $6.00-$8.00.
The Group Buy is on the "Exterior Package" and will be $235.95. Best price in the country and includes three sets of pads for different levels of polishing and waxing. You can add additional accessories at anytime in the future. http://www.topoftheline.com/cyclo-polisher.html
No comparision between the Cyclo and Porter Cable. The Cyclo will do more serious repair work. It is 100% idiot proof, easier to control, and the most enjoyable of all polishers to use.
Caltitan 06-12-2005, 02:32 AM You're making me want to add to my Fathers Day wish list. Especially after I spent many labor intensive hours recently detailing my Titan and the wife's minivan.

Thanks. Don't mean to get off topic more than this - unfortunately our little girl will always have serious medical challenges and disabilities. My job as her dad is to do what I can to help her reach her full potential with the life she has. The best Fathers Day gift I can have is to just have another year to share it with her.

I wasn't able to check the computer till late Friday night. So when you were posting for me, I had no idea. However, I did get a e-mail, and ordered mine. Thanks for e-mailing me! I would be kicking myself in the rear if I missed this. I hope everyone loves their machines (I know baja and I will).

gordonwin 06-24-2005, 02:40 PM Report on Deb's visit:
We had a wonderful meeting and Deb is everything you'd expect. Very enthusiastic about her truck, capable of just about any type of maintenance and driving ability.
I really appreciate her long drive to see us. That was far beyond anything I'd expect from a club member. She had already received her polisher and still drove 5 hours for a short visit!
Thanks Deb! You're a terrific lady, and know that I'm here for any assistance you might need in the future. Sooooo sorry we didn't take photos. I had thought of that before she came and still forgot.

gordonwin 07-04-2005, 02:34 PM Thank you for responding Deb. Has anyone else used their polishers?
gordonwin 07-04-2005, 02:36 PM Thank you for responding Deb. Has anyone else used their polishers? ....... Guess they're out firing off those crackers!
grpape 07-04-2005, 08:54 PM Sorry but I haven't had the chance to use it yet. It is a beautiful machine and delivery was very fast. I did have a problem with one of the yellow pads, but I believe (Jim?) sent me an extra one, and I'll be sending mine back (so you can see what happened). When I do have the chance to use it, I will write back (having a two and three year old cuts into my time). However, I only have great things to say about your company!
aloha, Derrick

aloha, Derrick Derrick, no need to send back the pad. Yes, "Don" sent you another. Let us know updates.
grpape 07-06-2005, 01:32 AM You sure? I wasn't able to take a pic. and didn't want to seem that I was trying to get an extra pad. It's already packed in the box ready to go. Just let me know what the fate of the nicked pad will be.
aloha, Derrick
p.s. Tell Don sorry for calling him Jim
gordonwin 07-06-2005, 01:08 PM Derrick, I'm quite sure you're trying to con me out of ONE LITTLE 4" FOAM PAD. Why not try for two! You're so funny.
Keep the pad as a spare, and don't worry about Don. he doesn't have time for computer chit chat.
