Does anyone here know if they make lowering springs for the Nissan Titan yet? I've been searching the web but haven't found anything yet.

I would think that Stillen would come out with something but nope!

Please let me know, thanks!

Jason

Not sure of any available at this time. I know m95roadster custom lowered his Titan and it looks good. PM him for info or just give him time to respond to this thread. Here's a pic of it next to other Titans at our recent So Cal owners meet: http://www.clubtitan.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=download&id=1713

A company called Ground Force was working on a kit. Supposed to be available later this year.

Roadster,

Yeah I know but I was wondering if anyone actually sold a lowering kit. I might end up just doing it how you did if I can't find a lowering kit soon.

Thanks!

yank the leafs out and place air bags on her.... If they don't make a specific app for the Titan I'm sure it would be easy to modify.

I'm not familiar with how air bags work.

Do they provide a good ride? My wife would hate if the Titan became bouncy! Are they reliable?

Let me know, thanks!

You wouldn't know much of a difference with good shocks. Are they reliable....you see them 80,000 pound tractor trailers....there on air bags.

Best of all...air bags are adjustable. I haven't dealt with any in a long time.... So all you mod muts out there....you think this is viable for the Titan????

Oh WOW, that's the first lowering kit I've seen for the Titan! That's very, very pricey too! I can't believe they're charging almost $800 for JUST springs!

I know I can get an airbag kit for around $1,000 but what would be ideal an airbag kit or a spring replacement???

Also, I want to make the front look a little lower than the back (rake look) and I don't think these springs will do that they seem to give it more of an even squat look rather.

If I buy an airbag kit, can I lower the front more than the back whenever i want and it's completely adjustable to how much I want to lower the truck???

Thanks guys!

Jason

Jason,
I had that system on for 2 days. Worse ride ever! The back went down 4 1/2" and the front 1". So the back sat a full inch lower than the front! Also, the frame was riding on the rear bumpstops even after cutting them in half. Any little bump then the rear would bounce around uncontrollably creating a dangerous situation. Just a warning to you.

Hey, give a call to Shane Edwards or Chuck Capps at New-Nissans.com. Their dealership did a major customization for a handicapped customer. Turned out the turck didn't squat low enough for the level of disability the customer had. Its still on their lot.

They can tell you who, what , where and how much such a change over costs and the pros and cons of it.

Tell 'em Ralph sent you.

Oh man, well I for sure won't bother buying the lowering kit then. NO WAY! I don't want a bad ride. I actually want to lower it but keep the best possible ride out of it.

I'm thinking I will have to just do what roadster did or perhaps look into an airbag setup.

Oh and Ralph, I will also look into that NEW-NISSAN dealership for sure as well.

Thanks!
