$779.00 shipped not much of a difference though, these guys also seem to have the best deal on the Volant CAI... $255.00 shipped.

Might be better off getting 2 of borla's mufflers and having a local muffler shop weld them into place for you. Might wanna check that out before buying and $800 set up when you could get the mufflers for $165 per muffler via cardomain.com. So...$330 then see if the muffler shop can fab you up something. 800-330 = $470ish.....I think you could come out a little better....just check into it.

But is this a true Borla exhaust or would our Titan friend be short changing himself with just two mufflers?

Its the same thing I did. I took my Titan to a local muffler shop that I've dealt with before, and they put in a Borla Turbo XL single in/dual out, with their piping, and my choice of tips. All said and done it cost me right about $300.

but what about the mandrel bent pipes, I have talked with some of the muffler shops in town and does not seem anyone does this. How much different. They also are not useing stainless pipes, Not that the stock ones are. Does it matter

Hey chef, I hate to say this but if you have a muffler shop do this you are sacrificing many times over. Like not having mandrel bent pipes, no SS, questionable welds, etc. etc. Bite the bullet and get the Borla kit, even if it means you have to save up a little longer. Then when you get it installed it will sound AND be a truly awesome system, along with no fitment issues and leaks. Save a little longer chef....

After having the dual catty on my Z i am a huge borla fan, plus its all 304 stainless which is really where the extra monry comes in, yeah probably not necessary but hey to each his own, plus Borla's are super easy installs, should take no more than 30 min with a buddy maybe an hour tops by yourself, just don't bang your head on the diff...and PLEASE wear safety glasses, I can't stress this enough

Just see if a local shop can save you money...they may or maynot be able to. If they can great, if they can't, oh well get the whole system and light up the streets hawse!

One of our site sponsors, eTruckOutfitters.com sells the Borla systems. They have their own section here in the forums, but you'll probably get a little fast response if you call Devin directly.
