Just wondering, i forged an early relationship with the Gail Banks company, and was just wondering what you guys thought of their cat back exhaust system for the titan.

From what I've read it's a love/hate relationship with the Banks system. Some say it's too loud and some love it. Personally I would like to have one to try on my truck so I could hear it for myself. I love my Gibson but would certainly like to try the Banks. Offer up a deal I can't refuse...

Dale,

You would love the Banks. Quality stuff and easy as pie to install. I personally like the sound but that is definitely a subjective opinion. I have had mine for 13 months now and I still like to turn off the CD/radio and just listen to it.

I like the fit and finish but just recently removed the big coffee can tip and put a regular one on it. That made it a lot quieter. I give it a thumbs up.

If someone (hint hint) was willing to donate one I would dyno it...then raffle it off...Now doesn't that sound like a good idea to everyone??

Hell yes.

(That was in reference to Dale's suggestion)

So this is just a single exhaust?

Even though it's not a dual setup the Banks is one of the only systems I'm aware of that use 3" piping throughout. A lot of other systems say they are 3" but that's only the pipe after the collector. The rest of the system is 2.5".

I'm not sure how a Banks would do on the dyno vs. a dual 2.5" system, but I know I would like to try it and see....

No offense and not to look a gift horse in the mouth so to speak, but $20 is not that much of a discount for an item that costs over $500.

I was able to purchase mine for $450 + free shipping but that was over a year ago.

Could you maybe do better than $20? (Never know unless you ask, right?)

You'd probably sell a lot with a better price and JetTech's dyno to back it up.

Thanks for wanting to give our members access to good prices on accessories for our rides!

I *think* that we would get an extra 10% off for being CT members - so that would be $450.

Anybody heard anything about the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat Back System? It does say it is a 2 1/2" system on their website.
