: Aeroturbine Muffler Videos For Club Titan(Fixed)
titan56 04-19-2005, 11:18 AM Well guys, I got the AT3030 installed and it is loud but, it sounds sooooo good. Sounds like an old muscle car now. Anyways, here's a video for your viewing pleasure. I'll get some drive by video soon enough. May post a in cab video if I can find a good one otherwise have to wait until my knee gets better.

Those should work. Dang forum software chops the links down and they come out bad sometimes. Unlike his exhaust which sounds soooo goood! 8)

Sorry, missed your repost...
titan56 04-19-2005, 11:47 AM Thanks HavockWK and no problem.
firecracker 04-19-2005, 01:19 PM ooooohhhh yeah! That DOES sound good!
RockyMtnTitan 04-19-2005, 08:25 PM Sounds mean......how do I know? I had the AT3030 installed with the reso (AR30?) with custom y-pipe on my Titan. I loved the sound and performance, but the drone started getting to me after a while. If drone becomes an issue for you, I'd recommend the Magnaflow XL SS reso instead of the AeroTurbine reso. It cut the drone probably in half.
Here's some pics of what I had:
kytitan 04-19-2005, 09:05 PM That sounds sooooooooo good.
titan56 04-20-2005, 12:14 AM Thanks guys.
LinkNuc 04-20-2005, 09:55 AM Very Nice a little too loud for me, but I love it
titan56 04-20-2005, 01:18 PM Yeah I get a lot of resonance at 2k rpm but, other than that love it.
HavockWK 04-20-2005, 02:53 PM Yeah I get a lot of resonance at 2k rpm but, other than that love it.
Heck I get that with the stock system!
titan56 04-20-2005, 04:17 PM Yeah so did I but, now it's a little worse but, not as bad because you can hear that Endurance V8 lol.
RockyMtnTitan 04-20-2005, 09:21 PM Here's what the AeroTurbine muff and reso combo sounds like on the Titan. This is before I changed the reso to a Magnaflow and also had the reso reinstalled in front of the muff instead of behind. Factory recommended I put it behind the muff originally, but imo this made the drone worse. Doing those two things knocks down the drone while still giving you a nice rumble.
Not tryin' to jack your thread, just tryin' to help.

titan56 04-20-2005, 09:25 PM RockyMtnTitan,
Thanks for the help on that at least to the others. Right now I like the sound the way it is without the resonator and I don't mind the drone because I'm a young guy driving a Titan that's single and don't have a g/f or family to worry about.
BTW, your truck sounds good with the AT3030.
RockyMtnTitan 04-20-2005, 09:32 PM I hear ya, bro. I really didn't mind the drone at all for about the first 1K miles or so. But after a while, it really started to get to me...hence, the reso change. Glad you love the sound.....the Aero is truly a unique design and will prob outlast your truck!
Better be careful with that post-surgery knee of yours, though. Not sure if it was the right or left one, but if it's the right knee you stand a good chance of reinjury from mashin' the pedal to hear that new muff....lol! Cheers...
titan56 04-20-2005, 09:37 PM Thanks I'll try to take it easy Rocky. It was the right knee. Still pretty wrapped up tight. I'll probably take off the wrapping tomorrow and see what I can do. Thanks again for helping out and giving fellow Titan owners more info and help. BTW, I've got 2k miles on the muffler. So, I don't mash much especially with gas prices but, I can tell an increase already in gas mileage for me.
got_titan 04-21-2005, 11:34 PM hey titan56 did you just replace the muffler or did you do a whole system. :?:
titan56 04-21-2005, 11:50 PM Just the muffler. The factory piping is already good enough for me so no need to replace. I still kept the factory muffler in case I wanted to switch back so.
