just some advise, Be very carefully where you put the infared eye thing, and test it many times before you drill any holes in the the interior. The eye can be a bit sensitive. I have one in my GTP so I could use the steering wheel controls, and had to change the location a few times to get it to be consistent. The best place I found was in the overhead console, like where the map lights and sunglasses pocket. You will have to lengthen the cable for the eye, but is seem to be the best spot. Other than that the unit works great if you do not have a sunroof, or never open it. When ever I open the sunroof on the GTP it stops working, I think it has to due with sun reflecting on the face and causeing the infared to not be seen.

holy crap.. I just opened up the instruction on this thing. I dont understand a damn thing on the instructions. I think it will be safer if I had someone install this lil beast.. unless someone has installed it on a Titan and can help me out. ANYONE??? or I can scan the Instructions and post them. HELP???

If you want to post the instruction I can make sure it was similar to the one I have put in and help you through it.

Hey KY Titan, can you elaborate more on this issue?

The same thing that raskm & mysetitan are talking about the PAC SWI-X I remembered members at TT talking about how they used it but, just didn't remember what it was called. So I did a search at TT on steering wheel controls and it came back with 193 threads. I was not going try to search threw all of them unless nobody answered PeaceKeepr. I just didn't want him to wonder if it could be done if no one else replied right away :D .

I have the PAC SWI-X installed and am using it with my Premier 930. It works great. The eye is mounted in the center console, right next to the console lock. The only time I have a problem is when I get one of those tub O' drinks and put it in the larger cup holder- rarely does that happen.

As far as I know it might work with the rear controls, but I haven't tried to program it to see.
