There were two problems with Chris' truck yesterday. One was the flex a lite fan. the truck was running almost 40* hotter than it is supposed to. The second thing was his VALET switch was on when he dyno'ed which is why it was dumping fuel. The timing is also pulled back about 5* in valet mode. So it turned 340 horsies running a 10 on the a/f ratio and minus 5* timing.

But there was a race between Chris' supercharged crew and a king cab nitrous running a 75 shot and Chris won by about 3 truck lengths.

Back on topic, I can't believe that I missed this pic being taken. That is hilarious!!!!!!

i keep telling people to get the 170F stant but they wont listen :P my temps never go above 183 now i love my new thermostat and i can see what the temps are all the time now with the scanguage II device.. thier is lots of power lost after temps get past 200f it's horrendous i lost about 2-3 tenths in the 1/4 with temps over 200f

His problem was found by got_titan the second he opened the hood. The person that installed his fan just laid the heat probe on top of the plastic radiator shroud. The ESC is tucked in behind the shroud where no air can hit it too.

His power loss flat showed on the dyno. But after I put the probe into the radiator and they flipped the valet switch it got nasty!!! But too bad the dyno guy had already left.

wow that sux balls, you definatly have to push the probe into the fins, cant believe they wouldnt put it all the way in there, my controller is mounted directly on the shroud also and has been doing fine since day 1.. :)

It was not in there AT ALL! It was literally laying on top of the radiator shroud. So when you close the hood, it would have been between the hood and the shroud! I could not believe it. I was walking over there when John went I found part of the problem.

I am just tickled to death that Kuntao now truly see's the potenial and power his truck has now. He was all smiles after the race is was like buying a quick 100 hp. LOL

I know the RC Titan is just a toy, but when the dyno guy released the brakes on the drum (front was wheel blocked) it actually started turning the drum ever so slowly. It was funny as heck. The dyno guys were laughing.

HotDog had the gas powered RC. That will fly. Mine is only battery, but it goes pretty good.

I would have given anything to have seen that!

Yep .. towards the end of the day. We ran Transformer once and everyone said it was not fair since I had 2 Super Chargers Piggy backed under the hood that many were not aware of. I then started to ride shotgun with Chris (Kuntao) and then Nathan (KnoxTitan). It was a blast !

I was just taking people to the end of the construction site and running back toward the parking lot so I could only get up to about 70 before romping on the brakes and testing out the anti-lock capability. LOL

darn, I missed it then, because I had to go. My sister in law had a baby, she was calling my wife all morining. I told my wife we would leave right after the raffels. anyway the baby was born at 3:30pm saturday (boy). my wife was happy to see him.

I ran out of Nitrous before I could even give Mandy a ride in it. Oh and you better belive I heard about that!!! lol

It does run at WOT, but you have to arm the nitrous kit. I can turn it on and off. I raced you the first time with nitrous, and then turned it off.

I was surprised you didn't beat me without the nitrous. I don't know whats up with that.

It's called stone foot at the begining of the race, don't mash it right away!
