: Heads up on group buy

04-23-2005, 08:31 AM
I am getting a set of Kleen Wheels brake dust guards from Devin @ TruckOutfitters. I am going to do a test/review on them, and if all goes favorable, and I can recommend them, he has agreed to do a group buy, with special pricing on them. I figure with the nice weather coming, this could help a lot in keeping our wheels lookin good!

Stay tuned!!!!!!

Sounds good BiXLL, I'm tired of having to wash my front wheels twice a week!

I had these on my BMW and they were great. I am interested to see how they look on the Titan.

I am very interested in knowing if these will cut down on the brake dust.

I’ve been interested in them for a while. If they look okay and you feel that the brakes still get good ventilation, I’m definitely in.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hear back anything new about the bull bar you’re testing??

Devin has been sick, but he said they would be on the way to me Friday. I will let all know my opinion once they arrive.

Hey Rossi....You could also get those carbontech(can't remember what they're called) brake pads. They really cut down on the dust!!

I may have too. These rims aren't that easy to clean either.....

They arrived today! Give me over the weekend, and I will have a review done and start the group buy on them. Devin has given us a price of $34.95 shipped per pair on the group buy.

I used Kleen Wheels dust covers a long time ago on an old BMW and recall they helped some. Suggest testing and photographing one front wheel with and one front wheel without, during the same time. Doubt you'll be able to measure brake ventillation and cooling without instrumentation though. Good Luck. - Wistle

Nice advice Wistle thanks for speaking up. :D

Wistle, thats a great idea! I did not get them on lastt weekend as planned, but I will do it for sure tomorrow, and just put the one on. I don't see a need for pics with the wheels clean at the begining, but I will post pics of with it on the 1 side, and without on the other side after about a week! Thanks for the input!

Great idea. I am very interested in the group buy because it seems that I am wiping my wheels on a daily basis.

I would be interested in the group buy also. The break dust is killing me. I washed my truck yesterday and drove approx. 100 miles today and wheels are covered. Keep us posted.

well guys i hope these work but i must say since i had the new brakes installed that nissan says will fix the judder  my brake dust is minimal. the pads must be ceramic based because the old pads would show massive amounts of dust in 3-4 days.
