: Liberty Nissan Hanover PA Hell Story
07sMoKeTiTaN 03-19-2007, 06:36 PM Well, just here to tell my horor story about Liberty Nissan in hanover PA.
I have been dealing with liberty nissan for 10 years or so. Basically when I got my permit. I have bought a frontier, Altima, and Xterra from liberty. I know Scott G and Phil Smith very well but my latestdealing with them may stop my dealings all around. I order my 07 Smoke Titan Le Crew Cab with the big tow package, upgraded interior, Chrome Package and some other options. They did tell me it usually take 30 - 60 days at the most 90 days which has very rarely ever happened. well this was the end of December.
I have been given 2 dates of when my truck would come in each time getting more and more excited. now I just got a call from them and they are saying could be another 2 -3 weeks. At this point I'm ready to break the all high and mighty and goto Chevy and buy the new avelanche. I know I will catch hell for saying that but at this point I have about had it with Nissan North America.
Anyone else have a long drawn out process with ordering a Nissan?
Bodean 03-19-2007, 06:41 PM The sad thing is they should have dealer traded for what you wanted in the first week. We pull from the entire state and south Georgia for our customers. And they have the tools to find that exact truck. If you make it down to south Florida I'll have one warmed up for you in the parking lot.
psutitan 03-19-2007, 07:14 PM That sucks and I am sorry to hear that. I would yank their colar hard and tell them your gonna drop the deal if they don't drop the price of your vehicle. At this point I would make them try to keep your sale. Just like Bodean said they should be able to find that vehicle within reasonable time.
Hang tough..........do you really wanna drive a chevy???
HRTKD 03-19-2007, 09:48 PM Anyone else have a long drawn out process with ordering a Nissan?
I put my order in to my broker and took ownership in about 10 days. I thought it would be hard to find since the local dealer had no trucks on the lot with the off-road package. Mine came with all the options I specified. Maybe it's an East coast problem?

italyguy01 03-20-2007, 11:32 AM Hey!
I know how it feels to be excited about a new vehicle, and then be let down. The thing is, don't take it out on your dealer.
Manufacturers can have delays that happen, at the factory, shipping, etc. All can effect the delivery date.
Believe me, the dealer wants to get the truck there and SOLD to you asap.
Give it some time, you will be happy and forget all about it when you do get your truck.
RedViper98 03-20-2007, 11:53 AM I went in looking for exact options when I dropped into the local Nissan dealership in AL. He did a search and found two trucks...one in GA that he could get transferred and the other in Daytona if I wanted to go get it. They can locate them. Just remind them of your loyalty and discuss your frustration with them.
lincey 03-20-2007, 11:55 AM When I got my truck, I went through a wholesaler, they found the exact truck i wanted, and drove it down from seattle to lake oswego, oregon. got it about a week later.
buzzkillwill 03-20-2007, 01:54 PM First, I hope you don't give up on the Titan, and go with the Chevy because of a dealership-in the end, you'll lose out, not the dealership. I'd try Frederick Nissan, too. They seem pretty good.
I'd get them to give you a firm date, and have them check other lots to see if one is already in stock. They can do that.
And third, if you're in Hanover, you're about 45 minutes from me. I live towards Chambersburg, PA.
07sMoKeTiTaN 03-20-2007, 10:31 PM Well. I just called my guy at Liberty Scott G and he said the date is set for this Thursday. I will give it to Friday then I will look elsewhere. I have actually went to York nissan and the one in westminister and none of them can locate the truck.
I really don't think I would go with chevy anyways. Just venting a little. Plus what would I do with the stuff I already ordered for the titan?
Well

plm7878 03-20-2007, 10:37 PM Good luck and welcome to CT....
James L. Stephens 03-20-2007, 10:46 PM I live in Martinsburg WV. Just bought a 07 Titan off Tir-State Nissan in Winchester VA 25 miles south of me. I can hook you up..... I got a great deal!!!!
sinnerFA 03-22-2007, 07:41 PM I used to go to Liberty and I was also looking at getting a 350Z (only had one on the lot), but they lack any real amount of cars on the lot.... The service is slow and always seems to be closed.... I had my Armada into them for warranty work on my driver door, that while I am driving sounds like it is bouncing and going to fall off, but they seemed to make it worse then better.... I had asked if they did the timing advance and they had a duhhhhhh face for a response.... So I now take it to Hertiage Nissan in Westminister MD.... A drive but better service and sales... BTW thats where I got my Armada. Well worth the travel IMO!
buzzkillwill 03-22-2007, 09:42 PM Let us know how it goes...
As for Liberty, I stopped in one day to test drive a Titan. A salesman tossed me the keys, and turned me lose. Didn't copy my license, ask my name, no plate-nothing...
Mazaduh 03-22-2007, 09:54 PM well its thursday and he has'nt posted.... not looking good!!!!
07sMoKeTiTaN 03-23-2007, 01:34 PM Well it is Friday and I got the call first thing thismorning from Scott G. Said my truck came in late last night and is all ready for me. This was at 9:30am. I told scott I could come by on my lunch break and get everything rolling. I went over at 12am and can honestly say that when I pulled in and seen the truck I almost wrecked my Xterra. That titan made me wanna well never mind. I went in scotts office he had everything already taking care of. All I did was sign on a couple doted lines and then he took me outside to go over the truck. I pulled out went home just looking at it and was going to take the rest of the day off. Since it is raining outside I figured ah what the hell back to work. I do think though I will follow my other PA Titan crew on over to Heritage to do my work. Now let the modding begin. And anyone in Pa near Hanover or MD lets hook up sometime.
I will take pictures of the truck tomorrow.
God Bless All Titan Owners

07sMoKeTiTaN 03-23-2007, 02:08 PM Yes Buzz we need to do that one weekend. We can get sinner too. Sinner We are known as the Beer Givers. My Father-In-Law who also works here at Hanover Foods is the Main reason the Family got into the cookoff and we spend about 1,000 to 2,000 on the cookoff. about 40 - 50 lbs of chilly and the beer we supply is outrageous. Anyone who is knows about the cookoff and loves chilly is welcome at out Setup. Think next year we might do a Plasma Tv or something. Get a little Xbox360 action going.
Also I need to do the Fog Light Mod. I forget what thread it was on but I can look back.
