Ok, I have a chance to buy a RF p6001 mono amp for about 140 bucks brand new in the box. No, its not stolen or anything. I know this is a good price, but the amp is way overkill for what I need. Really I just want some opinions, should I get it? I've got 2 10" subs under my back seat, but this is more amp than I need, but I don't think I should pass up this deal.

Hell buy it and if you think its to much power sale it on ebay. If you only get half of what Crutchfield wants for a new one, you will still make a nice profit. :D

My biggest problem is if I get it, I will go ahead and get better subs to go with it, then better components and a new amp to give me better highs to go with the better bass...

I can see where this could be problem. 8)

I did that once on the GTP, got a CD changer for a awsome price and next thing I know I have changed out every single audio component in the car. But hey, do what makes you happy.
