I do not know when it happened, but when I turn on the radio, (RF 6 disk, Nav & DVD) it does not sound, but I can hear slight noise from the sub woofer under the drivers seat. I play it loud, but never max'd out. I dont know if it quit during a song, or if it quit during vehicle start, I just know it will not make noise.
I have tried the rear AV button, the CD, SAT, Radio and nothing will produce sound. The balance is set in the middle, the fader is in the middle, & I have it turned on. (for you computer tech types, ha)
Is there a fuse I should check? I drive an hour to work, one-way, and it makes for a long trip without the tunes.....any ideas?

there may be a mute for if you were using headphones, if not that I think it is broken. I can not be without my radio, so I feel for you

I was regretting the sarcastic Its broken so I went and checked, If the headphone symbol is lit and your rear fad is -4 or -5 there is no sound. Hope your fix is this easy

Thanks for checking, but the rear fader is in the middle, and I do not have the earphone symbol up......I have it scheduled for this Monday.
Such a drag, I don't have the time for giving them my truck for a couple of hours....

Mills, do you have the service manual??? There's several troubleshooting checks you can do yourself using the NAV and by pushing select buttons on the radio...It will probably tell you what's wrong.

JT,
No I do not have the service manual...can I get it on the net? I would buy one, if it comes to that, but I am sitting here with my thumb up my nostril, waiting for Monday to take it into the dealer. I would love to get into this myself to at least do some type of troubleshooting. Is there a link, where I can buy or download the manual? Good suggestion...

http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissan/
you can do the online 1 day subscription for one day for 19.95 and dowload the whole thing. It is 142MB so do not attempt unless you got patience. But the information is worth it. For 19.95 you will get the entire 3600 page service manual
once you download it all to the same folder do not rename anything, and open the file FWD and you will be able to link to all the other files.

I have been screwing around with this Nissan site for an hour and I see no way to download anything. I purchased the 1 day subscription, and the only options I see for possible downloading, is to purchase the service manual for $295. What am I missing? I didn't realize I was so dense, ha.
