Hey everyone, this is Tony from Socal Motorsports. We have obtained the AirForce One line of intakes and want to know if there would be anyone interested in a group buy to launch it? AF1 is a small manufacturer that makes a great intake w/stainless steel and a washable filter. We will be receiving infor and pics from them shortly and will post them for everyone to see. What do you think?

Wow all, a month after he posted this original teaser and no replies from him. Perhaps a PM would work better.

An email response from Air Force One I received last Friday (July 1st) indicated they were about 6 weeks away from releasing their intake for the Titan. Hopupracing.com is taking preorders on their website.

My buddy with a '05 Ford 5.4 says this intake is very popular in their crowd. Supposedly it's a good product, but that is all I know.

The only thing I'm sceptical of is the lack of an enclosed filter cover. I live in Las Vegas were the temperatures were around 120 degrees last week and I don't want my filter to be pulling in hot air from the engine and outside temperature.
Air Force One claims "The venturi adapter generates a high vacuum in the filter enabling the filter to draw a higher volume of air while naturally lowering the ambient incoming air temperature by several degrees, eliminating the need to enclose the filter in a box and substantially increasing horsepower."
I'm confused why this would lower air temperature. Wouldn't you just be pulling in a greater amount of hot air?
I'll wait for some independent dynos from CT members before I make the leap and purchase one.
