So, I have been sitting here for about 7 hours in the dark. The stupid snow storm we are getting decided to knock our whole towns power out for about 7 hours. Wasn't too bad, except for the kids complaining they were bored. lol Just thought I would share my lovely spring weather conditions with everyone. lol

awwww... it's not that bad. Imagine how things were back in the days of the settlers - there wasn't light unless you lit an oil lamp or a candle - all night very night.
On the flip side, I look forward to power outages now. Since installing the generator, I can't wait to be the first on the street with power - let the party begin!
Being a Michigan resident, are you headed to the D!ck Scott Nissan meet this weekend?

My mom showed me a live newscam from Grand Rapids. 8 inches of goo fell in the early afternoon.
Dad had mowed the yard that morning!

Yeah it wasn't too bad. The kids just kept complaining of being bored, so we played games. If I lived in a house I would have a generator, but I live in an apt.
I was planning on attending, but won't be able to do to work.

I was raised in Harper Woods, Michigan. Looking back today, I don't think I could ever move away from the South or warm weather in general but I had a great time growing up there. People were always friendly, good schools, and of course Wolverine football games will always be missed!

my wife wasn't too thrilled with it, got to hear again what she has to deal with while I am in TN. On a good note we fly to FL Saturday and that should lift her mood a bit
