well i finally did it after noticing how horrible my braking was and the steering wheel dang near rattlin my wrists whenever i braked .. took it to Tom Peacock Nissan here in North Houston .. had previously spoken with an advisor named Erik .. then Jeff.. and the one that handled my warranty work named Ramiro.. pretty cool guy .. dropped the truck off at 9a.m. got it back at 'bout 2pm though they said they was done earlier .. had a courtesy ride back to my apartment and they picked me back up to take me to my truck .. all around .. feels wayyyyyyy better .. more solid .. better pressure on the pedal and more solid .. no steering wheel pull at all .. :udaman:

It has never been a recall, so no letters were ever mailed.

yeah . what he said .. it was just a service bulletin .. mine's an 05 CC XE .. don't think i got anything other than just power options on it from the dealership .. do a search here on the site or on TT .. you'll find and see all sorts of technical advisor notices .. they come in handy ..
