I'm looking for an 86 or newer Mustang Convertible, would like a decent runner, has to be a V8, manual or auto but would prefer stick, the body doesn't have to be in great shape, it will only be driven with the mustang body for a year or so.

The wife wants a convertible to drive this summer, and I want to build a kit Cobra when I get back from afghanistan in '07. She said if I get her the convertible now, I can build the FFR when I get home and use it as the doner car, that's why I don't care too much about the condition of the body because it will be getting screpped.

If anyone knows of one within a weekend trip of Kansas City, please let me know.

I found a dealership that sells Conv. Mustangs in Richardson Texas (a NW Suburb of Dallas)
But, I only had a "Glance" (no other info)
