Picked up some goodies from Top of the Line. These products completely transformed the look of the car. The paint had major swirl marks and light oxidation due to neglect.

Below is a list and what each product does.
* Hi Temp Light Cut - removes swirl marks and oxidation
* Klasse AIO - paint cleaner and sealer
* Klasse SG - sealant (pure acrylic), used as a last step product

The SG is not needed after AIO, but it adds serious depth and durability. Expect 6+ months of protection with the AIO and SG combo. The AIO is an awesome cleaner too. I used it on the windshield and glass and check out the refections.

The result is jaw dropping! I have never seen my car look this good and the paint is black and 10 years old. There is so much reflectivity and shine it almost looks like a coating of clear gloss was poured over the car. Click on the pics to get a more detailed view.

If you want your Titan to shine then I highly recommend these products. 5 stars!
 :bling:

Man that looks good, too bad you didn't get a before pic! I wonder what it would do for that old cherokee i got lying around.....

Yeah, I forgot to get a before pic. But anyways you guys will be very happy with the outcome. If you have a random orbital like the Porter Cable that Top of the Line sells it makes it so much easier. I used a Craftsman for 2 years ($19) that worked pretty good. I highly recommend the Klasse AIO + SG...killer combo! Adds that "wow" factor. I used Meguiar's NXT (good wax) before this and it just doesn't last very long. Plus I hate having to working on the Titan because it's so big.

The shine on that roller skate is something else Ken. I just might have to get me some of that "shine in a bottle" you used. How long did it take you to use the products?

Roller skate? Who you calling roller skate? :***: This badboy ran high 12's @112 when it was boosted!

Anyways, the whole detail took about 3 1/2 hours. You'll only need the light cut once if you maintain the paint. Here's the procedure:

1) Wash
2) Clay bar (you wouldn't believe how great this works) makes the paint smooth as a baby's bottom.
3) Light Cut to polish and bring out the shine.
4) Klasse AIO cleans and lays a layer of acrylic for the foundation
5) Klasse SG or good carnauba; this step adds the durability and extra shine. I've used lots of good waxes and none are as durable as the SG.

After 6 months (if you used SG, 1-2 mos. if wax) start over with steps 4 and 5.

Chris, you might gain a tenth in the quarter mile from the slickness, which you definitely need with that slower deep water color :roflmao:

Thanks for the testimonials everyone. Did I mention that the waxes and clay decrease wind resistance?

P.S. You can also layer the Trade Secret or any of the other Carnauba pastes over the Klasse Sealant. This adds depth of color on black, dark blue, green, red, etc. Carnauba does indeed, make those colors darker.

This one's even better! The lower panels on miatas have a stone guard finish so that's why the reflection isn't that good. Also, I only have a 2 mega pixel cam so it doesn't do any justice. It looks awesome in real life!

Bigun..

Clay removes contaminants, overspray, embedded dust, etc. from the paint. If your paint surface doesn't feel smooth as glass (gritty) then a clay bar job will take care of that. Go here http://www.mothers.com/products/ under paint care. This is what I've used and you can get it at Pepboys or Autozone.

M95,

You mentioned using a "clay bar" what does this do and how do you use it? I dont think I've seen this before.

TIA

Bigun.. Place your fingers in a sandwich bag and rub over your waxed finish. No matter how much rubbing and waxing you've done, there will always be specks on the surface. Only automotive clay removes this contamination. It can be as innocent as environmental pollution or as severe as over spray.

Clay sticks to the specks and "pulls" them off as you rub the bar across the surface. You spray-on a light clay lubricant to enable the bar to maneuver.

Some clays are abrasive and used for multiple tasks, so choose wisely. Ours is not. It is safe for any paint or plastic surface.

No, it had one of those electric superchargers you could fabricate for around $60, but it was still faster than that green camaro.

Yes Sir, that is Rose Hills in Whittier. It is kind of a tradition since my Grandfather past away in 1995 that I take a picture of every "Project" car I own just in front of his resting place. He was the one who got me into customizing cars at a young age so it's kind of like me showing him my handy work just like I used to when he was still here. :)

BTW - The blue car is a 1972 Chevelle, not a Camaro . . . Shame on you! J/K LOL

Don't feel bad, the other day I was at a local speed shop that deals with mostly imports and I'm standing there talking to this guy and I say to him, "These new Civics sure look alot like the Ford Focus hatchbacks." He then informed me that it was a Focus hatchback. Woops! It was completely debadged with custom paint and gullwing doors. I didn't know! LOL

:nervous:

BTW - Notice the shine on my Grandpa's stone??? I would venture to say it's the only headstone at Rose Hills which gets a bi-annual coat of Z-Best Carnuba Wax! You can see how jealous the Chevelle is off in the distance! LOL
