: Best stuff to use for the black trim exterior sujittraiam 06-21-2007, 02:32 PM The ICE wax makes the black plastic trims around the outside of the truck look like new. You can lightly buff the wax out to remove streaks, but since this stuff does not have white residue it rocks on the black plastics. Works 100 times better than armor-all or any other stuff. Also keep it away from your running bars, it makes it really slick. I use it on the wiper arms, side mirrors, tire splash guards and the tailgate/bumper. I've also tried the ICE liquid clay bar on the paint which works great inbetween yearly clay baring. I wonder if it will cause it to crack after time? Wax is a hard substance when dry. I have use it for over a year now and so far the black has not faded or discolored. It might have something to do with it being synthetic that won't cause it to dry out.
