Have you ever put wax on a truck before? lol
Bodean 06-27-2007, 10:39 AM Take some Mothers Carnuba wax and heat it up so it melts. then mix in some blue food coloring. That may be the dumbest Idea I have ever had but if I were asking the question I would try it.
usafs13 06-27-2007, 10:40 AM wanna know the easiest way to do this ???? this is gonna sound so dumb, but its by far the best way...
wax it at dusk, and use the street lights as light(park right under it, or any other type of bright light)... it will almost be like waxing a black truck, the wax stands out like an freaking skin tight shirt on a fat chick. just do a walk around and look down the body panels.
like i said.. i know it sounds dumb and such but try one time, youll be amazed how easy it is to see it then
TitanFooseDesign 06-27-2007, 11:22 AM Easiest way, use the new Turtle Wax "ICE" auto-wax. I use that now (dont have a white titan), but it is safe on all finishes and can even be left on without any harmful residue or paint problems. I would just do a small section at a time with is and you wouldnt have to worry about it. Or use a wax while you dry product.
Just my .02
Mazaduh 06-27-2007, 11:38 AM I think the Wax you have been using has worked wonders

Yup...but I am turning over a new leaf. My truck will stay clean forever! :)
Mud is no longer a temptation. No mud. No Mud. No mud. Repeat until it sinks in my head.
That mud was a good protectant coat IMO. :)
Thanks for all the suggestions!
I have the ice, I got 95% of it waxed with Meguires NXT paste so maybe I'll go over that with the ice. But I really wanted to get a good coat on it so the bugs would just slide off. Maybe I'll cover it in Vaseline!
Mazaduh 06-27-2007, 11:50 AM I know what to get you for X mass Now!!! a giant Clear plastic box to park you truck in!!!!! so it allways look new!!!

Haha, Never thought about the Vaseline idea, I might have to try that.
Papa_D 06-27-2007, 12:40 PM Klasse rocks, wipe on, wipe off, light tan color, great on white and won't white out the trim. Check out properautocare.com.
Knox_Titan 06-27-2007, 01:15 PM Ask Transformer............... I think his truck may have had some some wax on it at one time or another.
wamsuttabill 06-27-2007, 06:55 PM if you wear sunglasses with polarizing lens you'll be able to see the wax without squinting!
DirtyTitan07 06-27-2007, 07:02 PM yes there's all types of wax and colors. but your best bet is to just wipe everything down twice. im a detailer in a shop and i take my cars outside in the sun to see if i missed any. the longer it has to dry the more it stands out aswell
