Has anyone heard of a ,I think they are called "Flo-Pro" mufflers at NAPA auto parts stores? Someone at work was telling me they were a generic version of a Flowmaster at just under half the cost (45 bux to be exact). They say they are built identical to the Flowmaster :roll: can anyone verify this? Anyone used them? I plan on a dual exast system around the first of the year and I am on a budget, so I am looking for a good bargain on parts.

Can't speak to the muffler you mentioned, but having spent the better part of my naval career in North Florida, I can tell you that you can get the real deal at Discount Auto for about $55-$60, depending on the configuration you want (single in-dual out, etc). That is for the 40 series; I don't know about the other series Flows.

Deest what level of sound are you going for. Loud, really Loud or REAAAALLLYYY LOOUUUDDD. 40 is pretty much the loudest. I have the 50 series and you know what that sounds like from my sound clips. The 70 series is pretty tame but still good sound. Most of the people around here would probably go for the 70 series. Except us good ol southern boys. HEH

ROFL! yes,straight pipes and glass packs are the norm down here.I have had both before, but i'm not going that loud this time. I'm about sure I want the dual in dual out 50. I havent heard a 40 to compare to it yet, so I havent ruled it out either.

I have never heard of "Flow-Pro" mufflers, but I would think if they are sold at NAPA that they would know if they are identical to Flow Master.

Let me know what you find out and I will check here at my local NAPA store and see what they have to say.
