I am new to the site and I have an 05 Titan. Is anyone planning a meet in NOR CAL?

Would anyone be interested in a Norcal or Socal meet in August 2007?

I'm always down. Just need someone to take the lead and get it going. Titan Talk has a lot of Central California members also.

I have been wanting to do a cruise in at the sonic in modesto. maybe even A&W down town motown. what do you think?

For someone with organizational skills ... August or September, (but not the Labor Day weekend), would be great. [Just search for tide tables and avoid record high tides. Lol]

I've been on the Sand Hwy. in a 2wd with the tires aired down to single digits ... piece of cake and that was in a 60's International panel truck, so no excuses from the street trucks. Lol

The beach goes for miles and miles though, so even if big dunes isn't your destiny, a cruise on the hard packed, semi-damp sand is no problem ... I used to do it almost everyday in a Firebird when I was a kid. State hadn't taken it all over back then, so there was no $5 day-use fee.

I plan on taking a tent trailer and staying an extra weekday or two before and/or after a weekend meet.

I think h00ligan, from San Diego, was going to check it out today, on the way home from his vacation, so hopefully he'll have some 2wd insights too.

Anyway I plan to escape the Central Valley heat and attend ... even if none of the rest of you do. Lol

I'm down for a Mo-Town cruise. As for Pismo....I'm not 4X4 so not too interested in getting pulled out all day!!!

A track meet is more my taste right now. But if I had a 4X4 I'd be all over Pismo...love that place.

I wish I could go but i work weekends but Im off and Mon, Tues. Im sure everyone would be gone by then :-(
