Hey guys. I'm calling on all of you that want to help with a pretty major undertaking. Shiftyb will be staying the night at my house the night before the meet and we will be installing a ton of crap on his new truck on Saturday (July 28th). We'll be doing:

1) Halo projectors
2) Coilovers
3) PRG UCA's
4) Spindles
5) Brake lines
6) Carrier Bearing drop down bracket
7) Deavers
8) Blocks
9) Brake line relocator kit
10) Offroad traction bars
11) New wheels and tires

He has a whole list of other things that he's going to try and get taken care of before he shows up but anything he doesn't get done we'll have to do while he's here. He wants it all taken care of before the following day so that he can show off his new truck at the meet. Just think. A heavily modded truck with paper plates!
All you guys know who you are. Jaho, ChooChoo, Tricky, TitanR, GRIM and anyone else who feels like comin' over to sweat like a freakin' pig. It's going to be a long day but I'm trying to get this taken care of for shiftyb. I'd really like to see wakeboarder as well. I'm gonna send you a PM about this. So far the list includes:

good choice! they'll stick out a bit even with that backspacing but it's all good. love the wheels and tires!

1/4" less than MM 951s, but still a good choice for more stability ... wider track.
Just use the Kartmanaz Sawzall pinch weld mod.

Btw Shifty, just curious on why you chose 18s instead of a 17? You planning a big brake kit, or something?

Well, I have a few reasons.
#1 The 08 Titans require nothing less than an 18" rim. This is in the event that I get a wild up my rear and get an 08, they will fit.

#2 I already have a spare set of LE wheels in case the new ones dont get here. I have some 33.6" Toyo ATs that I can put on if the tires dont get there.

#3 Possible brake upgrade???

all the more reason to go with 18s then! but if you do decide to get that wild hair and go 08, you shouldn't need #3, other than to possibly change out the rotors and pads for higher performance ones.

WOW great choice!!! I think you did the right thing. The Rockstars would have been a TIGHT squeeze, plus now you'll have more sidewall which is always a good thing :D IMO

Yeah they cost just a little over half of what the Rockstars did too.
I always wanted the Rockstar but I wouldnt be able to use the truck with those wheels on it.

Just a couple questions Vaughn. Are you gonna weld or bolt on the Offroad T Bars? I still have to install mine and most are saying to have mine welded.

If I was closer I would come and watch. I'd make a good cheerleader and make some naughty jokes to keep y'all in good spirits while you installed everything. I could also hand ya tools. Otherwise I would most likely be in the way or I would just leave and go play with V's little girl. I wish ya well on all the installs and everything goes in on the first try and no problems!!

We'll be starting this gig around 9am. Shifty should be at my house around 8 or so. We'll get that all sorted out before you guys get there.
As far as whether or not my wife and kid will be here, I really don't know. These types of things are fun to me but I can't really expect my wife to share in my enthusiasm so if she decides to up and split with our daughter that's fine with me. I wouldn't bank on anything in that regard because I don't want her to feel obligated to stick around for my benefit.

We'll figure out food later but my best guess says to bring a few bones and we'll all chip for some pizzas.

Although we love the beer, however, it's gonna be hotter than a mofo outside, so, i'll bring a case (or 2) of water and gatoraide as well (I'll stop off at Sam's to get these).. Very nice, Ryan. That truck's gonna see the quickest transformation of any Titan, yet. It's going to look completely different when we're finished and you'll only have two dead bugs on the paper tags screwed to the front of it. Can't beat that!!
