Hello,

Is it possible to purchase the left side of the crewcab bed, and or chrome/silver bumper. Also want to add mother of all hitches now as a defensive mechanism!
I have a rad silver which was bumped in a parking lot by an escort.

Damage to the escort 400 (light and bezel)
Damage to Titan bumper moved into corner of bed, crinkled the little
extension beside the outdoor glove box and dimpled the side of the bed!

Thanks

I think the bed is one piece my friend...so that could be a very expensive bump. I'm sure someone that knows for certain will let us know.

I think the bed is all 1 piece. I remember seeing beds for sale from replacements that were done because of bedliner issues and they had the fenders. You will probably have to have a body shop fix those dents.

By golly (expletives uttered by not typed), Why would they design a truck bed that is one piece.

What a bummer.

I'd have to agree.....All the trucks I've owned the past years have had one piece beds. Either body work...or full replacement.

Come`on guys, have you never heard of a CHOP SAW. Any bed can be as many pieces as you want.

Now all the salvage folks sell complete beds.
I know I am not `sposed to do this, but.........I saw a while back an TT some beds is Va. some place. Check there to. Good luck.

Yep first Truck.

Don't Understand why they can't make/sell a side!

An escort backed into the corner of my TRUCK bumper. The escort broke a tail light and cracked a bezel. The TRUCK bumper bent in hit the truck bed and bent it!

Oh well! I know crumple zone as some loyal Titan owners say!

Where can I find info on Titan truck beds. As a side note: Saw a work truck with lots of compartments built into the truck bed side to harvest all air space. Way cool but have no idea as to who makes it.

A body shop can change any part of the bed that you want. They call it changing the skin. It must be cut off and the new skin welded back on, not a job for the do it yourselfer.

beds are not one piece. can you imagine the auto people having to make a one piece mold for that i dont think so. cheaper to make smaller parts and weld them together i think. i am sure if you look along the inside of the bed you will find spot welds. they make it like the other guy said you can take of a section at atime to make it easier when it comes time to fix it from a accident. it is just like your door. on the outside is a door skin you can grind the leading edge off and the skin will come off. same should be with the bed you can get a spot weld remover bit and cut the spot welds off. but i do advise if you get the balls to do that to your own truck with out knowing what you are doing then i would stop, it is very and i mean VERY HARD to do that repair. take it to a shop or replace the whole bed. just my 2cents. aloha
