I recently had to reformat my computer, and have basically lost everything. I used Kazza-lite in the past for my music, but have been told it is the worst of sites for getting partial songs, and picking up viruses.

Can you guys tell me what you use, and if you recommend it?

Bit Torrent has worked well for me in the past but just keep in mind that your IP can be seen when downloading files.

I finally got around to ripping the rest of my cd collection, almost 1000 hours of music now, so I think I am done downloading for a while. But I usually use bearshare for my downloading. I just set my firewall to block the Save! program that has to run in order to use the free version of it. It still lets me run bearshare, but it blocks the annoying pop ups.
