I just wanted to consolidate everything for the upcoming Oklahoma City Club Titan/Armada Meet to be held on August 18th, 2007 from approx. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All members are invited, family included (this is not just for Okies)!

Location: Harrah Heritage Park in Harrah, OK located 20 minutes E of OKC, (see maps). This is a nice park with a large pavilion, football sized field (no goal posts), volleyball court, playground w/ a big toy for the rug rats, picnic tables, restrooms, jogging track and plenty of parking.

What to bring: Your own meat to grill (with fixins), choice of beverages (soda pop, beer, etc.) and then a large side dish or two for everyone.

Who's bringing what:
SoonerTitan - Plasticware, Ketchup, Mustard, grilling utensils, horseshoes and jalapeno poppers
DF6 Titan - plates and cups
Baja220 - charcoal/lighter fluid
Needed - Extra horseshoe set, couple of tables, extra lawn chairs and whatever else I'm missing.

Attractions: The usual, volleyball, horseshoes, etc. Ham-It-Up Karaoke (also a Titan owner) has volunteered to DJ the event with a professional grade sound system and over 2,000 tracks including Rock, Pop, Country and R&B/Rap (see www.ham-it-up.com/ (http://www.ham-it-up.com/)). Also, there has been a lot of interest in the 2* Timing Advance. So, Pops talked to Bob Moore Nissan in Norman and they are checking to see if one of their techs can attend the meet in addition to bringing out one of their lifted 2008 Titans.

Im telling you bud you need to come up and see all us okies and so I can ride in your truck. Also anyone planning on going to OT IV im tossing around the idea.

I've added a new attraction to the flyer post. Ham-It-Up Karaoke will be there to DJ the meet (edit: he's not doing karaoke, just music). He has an awesome sound system AND he's a loyal Titan owner.

Ill get the plates and cups.

Off the topic, this friday afternoon me and other friends are heading to little sahara, don't know if anyone is interested in going. We will be riding the atv in the dunes. We planning to ride all friday night long so we can avoid the heat if possible and we might rest for a few hours and ride in the morning as well.

Just to give you Tulsans a heads up, there is a construction sign at HWY 102 and HWY 62 stating that "Hwy 102 is closed due to construction." The constructon is on HWY 102 somewhere between Wellston (HWY 66) and HWY 62. I don't know if there is some kind of detour or what. So, you might want to get off at the Chandler exit and take HWY 177 South to HWY 62 West rather than getting off at the Wellston exit.

Off the topic, my wife and I have been wanting to go riding at the Little Sahara. I think we've ridden everywhere else, day and night, but there. We do most of our riding at Broken Bow, Lake Murray and next month we're going to Wolf Pen Gap. My daughter is having a birthday slumber party Friday. As much as I would love to get out of spending the evening with a house full of screaming girls, my wife says I have stay home. I think I'll confine myself to the shop with a 12 pack, until the girl's sugar high wears off and sneak back in when the coast is clear. LOL

Ah, BlackWidow, I knew there was a Tulsan, but couldn't find the post. I guess we need to deside what time we wanna get to the meet and meet up 1.5-2 hours before that. I'm gonna guess that DF6 wants to get there yesterday!!

Got that right. :D Got mine all nice and shiny yesterday, took the family out to eat and the dadgumned grass sprinklers came on and spotted her all up. :rolleyes: Good thing I was planning to do another run through Friday anyway. :D

I gotta work Thursday and Friday so ill be pissed if it rains hope it doesn't or there will be some late night detailing going on. :D

There's a Quick Trip just off 44 at 49th W. Ave. How would that be? We could fill up our trucks, get ice, and whatever else we need and be on our way. And what ever time you wanna meet is fine with me.

I haven't had a day off in 2 1/2 weeks so I'll be lucky if my truck is washed!!
And speaking of detailing, does anyone coming to the meet have anything that will clean allum wheels?? Mine are clearcoated and won't come clean after all the salt and sand we had down all winter. I've probably spent close to 300.00 on different allum cleaner and still havent' found something that will work.

Update - Highway 102 is closed 12 miles North of Hwy 62.
