Here is a breakdown of ALOT of different oil filters, pretty impressive as far as the info you can get out of it. I think it has been posted before but it is a good reference guide, and I am sure alot have never seen it.

I could be wrong, but I think the AMSoil filter he took apart (but never did much else with it?) is an old filter design.

Not all the filters are current, I am sure there are a bunch that have changed since the testing was done, it was done back in 2003. But I thought it would show a good illustration of good filters and not so good for different reasons.
