OK, I'm starting with replacing the rear speakers. I bought 6.5 inch component speakers. Do I even need to use the factory tweeter hookup? Can't I just wire the included crossover into the main rear speaker line and run that to the new tweeter, or is the signal there bass-only (through a factory crossover)? Or should I use the factory installed tweeter line to the new tweets and skip using the new crossover? Am I even making any sense?
Also, are the dash speakers full-range or tweeters?
Any help would be hot.

Just use the crossover that came with your speaker. Just disconnect the factory tweeter.
I'm pretty sure that it works both ways Factory or Aftermarke Head Unit. Signals are sent through the crossover to the speakers.
The dash are tweeters but I believe that u can replace them with 3" speakers. It might be 4", I measure them but I forgot what they were.

The tweeters are wired into the door speakers. No crossover there.
Fosgate Package just has an amp istalled but the same speaker setup + the sub.

I can't see how the tweeters are hooked to the woofers. There is a different cable running to each. Maybe if I saw how the lines came out of the factory head it would make more sense?

The speakers use the same lines but the tweeters pick up different signals then that of the woofers.

The wiring diagram clears things up significantly. Out of curiosity, what does the (CC) represent wired between the rear speaker and rear tweeter, and why is it not the same in the front? Thanks guys for all your help. I hope I don't seem too dense!
