:?: Does anyone know if you can buy a factory sub for under the passenger seat like the one under the drivers seat on the titans? What would it take to make it work or has anyone ever done it. Overall I'm happy with the sound in my truck, but I figured it would sound more balanced with two subs. thanks

I haven't heard of anyone doing this....and I haven't seen one...but if it fits under the drivers seat it should fit under the passender seat. However....with that system....does the amp go with the box...or is it placed else where???? You'll have to make sure the amp, if it's one, can handle it. Or run a separate amp for the new sub.
Low frequency sound is non-directional, so a second sub isn't needed to even the sound. Also you can't just add a second sub without screwing up the impedence load to the amp.

Rossi don't you remeber I made my own box for under there. The passenger side has all the stuff for the airbag under there, so there is less room to work with. You have to have very low profile subs that needs next to nothing air space. I have said in my post about them, that they sound okay, but I would not recomend this solution if you like it to thump.

yes that was me, in this section I put a thread call "Under Captian Chair sub boxes" I got the idea from somebody else, don't remember who, but they said they did the same thing and was never able to show the pictures of it, so I tried it myself. I don't think the other person is still around even. but you can try it if you just want a little rounder sound, but by no means will you get it to bump correctly.
