Anyone know of any regular meets in SA? Having owned my Titan for about 2 months, it's always nice to meet fellow owners. I see some on base where i work at (Lackland) including a nice lifted red one. I know for a fact some cars meet up off 410 near Marbach (next to the small sno-cone shop) sometimes but I just don't want to drive up and invite myself especially when I would be the oddball out..

Im in San Antonio too... I been wanting to set up a meet but we didnt used to have that many San Antonians active members, maybe we can work on setting something up in the Fall. I know theres interest to get together and talk about our trucks since I lifted my truck 2 titan owners have stop by my house and ask me questions about my lift and tires...

hopefully we can get some folks to chime in here to set something up...

Im always out on the lookout for titans.
I actually met this guy at HEB at bandera Rd he had a White Kc Titan and alot of mods; 6" Fabtech and 3" body lift. He had JBA headers and a flowmaster exhaust. He also had color match BW fenders and the front window was tinted... Cool guy and cool truck ...

ah, you pick the weekend im goin out of town lol, goin up to lubbock this weekend lol, but i think ill be back mid day on sunday so mabey sunday or monday

ya, there are quite a few lifted titans around but i always see them driving and dont have a chance to flag them down

I think you guys should just set it up. Sometime once something is set up more peoples will chime in. It can start small, I read a thread where the Houston meet started out with 2 Titans.:D

How about the last weekend of September? Weather should be good around that time. I just have to check to see which week I have to go to Germany. And my system install will be completed by then :)

Hey guys. I've never been to a meet or know of how one is meticulously organized but I know there is a race track near SA somewhere on I-10. Maybe a trip to the track can be fit somewhere in the schedule. I'm sure you SA Titans know which one I am talking about. Just an idea. It might be cool to have someone record the Titans making some passes and post them along with pics, if it ever happens.

well, there are alot of parks in san antonio, any 1 of which would make a nice venue, the biggest is probably mcallister park, there is always some free space there. but we can always meet somewhere and go offroad a little bit or whatever, i do know a cool place for that. but let me know what kind of venue we would look for and im sure i can think of a place.

oh, and i bet d0va might make an appearance, ill let him know about it

I'm more for the "clean" park event. Just because I will clean up my ride for the trip. But if we decide to get them dirty...I won't turn down the offer :)

That's the one I was referring to. Actually, that's the only one I know of. I am still interested in a meet. I wouldn't be able to go off road 'cuz my Titan is too powerful.......and I have no 4WD. Just wondering if there is anyone in SA that can do a 2* timing advance? If not, I was thinking of asking RBsTitan if he could pay us a visit in SA and, I know he posted that it would be free at meets, but since I would be asking him to come, I am more than willing to pay a reasonable fee. I dunno. It might be arrogant of me to ask him to come to us. Heck, does anyone interested in the meet need/want a timing advance? Maybe he can be convinced$$$$

I would be intrested but I would only be able to make it after the 1st weekend of Nov. I will be getting stationed at FT Hood and my girlfriend is from SA so I know I will be over there a lot.

Count me in, though if this happens it will be on saturday right? The reason I want to be clear on that is I work sunday 3:30pm.. If I take off from SA sunday morning I'll make it no prob.

MAybe we can all get together 4x4 and 4x2 like at brackenridge park and check out our rides. After that we can offroading if some of the 4x2 guys want to go they can get a ride in the 4x4 Titans or take their own titan.

Hey guys. I don't know if I would be out of line as a member with this question but, my father has an '07 Titan and he expressed interest in going to the meet. Is everyone o.k. if he comes along and brings his truck even though he is not a member?

It won't be as fun without an agenda. We need to agree on an exact time, facilities, food and possibly events. If we get together at a restaurant, I vote for Pappadeaux's 'cause I like their fried alligator and seafood pasta. Just my .02, but more coordination/communication is necessary.

umm. i been trying to get a 4x4 meet going for a while now and spoke to DOVA about something like that


i am in as long as i am not on call (every 4th weelend) was on call last weenend

i am going out of town with my fiance this weekend but after that i am ready


just a suggestion

i think it would be easier if everyone put in their sigs what truck they have

meaning 4x4, 4x2 or so...
this will help us plan if it will a 4x4 meet or not

either way i want in!

My suggested agenda:

Saturday, September 29th:

1pm we meet at given restaurant (I'll put this in wakeboard's hands)
2~3pm we head to offroad location (wakeboard & dova)
6pm we hit up a local bar for some brew
8pm close it up (for those of us that have to travel back)

For the record, I have a 4x4...ready, willing, and able!

on the food maybe some bill millers or rudy's b-que. Or maybe Mamasitas Mexican Restaurant... They have free ships and salsa w/drinks. 5.50 frozen margaritas...

This restaurans have big parking lots so it wont be a problem parking.

Heck!!! I'll go for that 2* timing advance. A Nissan dealership sponsored meet would be great! Any of those restaurants would be fine in my book. I like the chicken strips and tea from Bill Miller, Most of the food at Rudy's is good especially the beans and Mamacitas is good as well. Their queso flameado and fresh tortillas are tasty. I like the time since we wouldn't have to leave the day before or extremely early Sat. morning.
