I don't think I'd show up with the Impalla I'm in now...god, that thing is nasty! It was in paint a couple of days ago (the back passenger side panel was being painted, and cleared). They are now putting it on the body rack, to allign my the body if need be, then fix what's broken... If they've already started working on it; I should have it... I'm going to get a status tomorrow.. I don't want to push them to hard, b/c I want it done right the first time. I'll be there, and yes, I'll see if I can bring my wife's Z if I don't have the Titan by then...

Maybe a little farther down from the courts and play ground...I'm sure that area will get crowded. I plan on bringing some Caution tape and taping off about 20 parking spots when I get there if it starts getting crowded with Park goers. I'll be there around 10am on the 7th.

When you enter the park turn RIGHT at the stop sign... go PAST the basketball courts on your right...thru an open red gate..then look for Titans or my Titan and yellow caution tape on the left about 50-100 yards from the red gate. All the parking will be on the left side of the road and the picnic table will be across the street (no traffic on the street) under the shade trees. See ya'll Sunday! If anyone has a table that they can bring that would be great... we only have (1) picnic table to use.

guys my truck is at the dealership getting a new rear end put in right now. I was supposed to have it today but they found out that they were gonna have to replace the whole thing and not just the seals. They are supposed to have it done by tomorrow but I might be pulling up at the meet in my moms navigator haha.

sorry guys, but, i will not be driving my titan to the meet.... i'm super p!ssed right now, that i can't express what i feel... as soon as i get my titan back, i'm dropping my insurance company (AIG)... you know what i'm in the wrong profession, guess what; the pr!ck at the body shop said oops, we forgot to add this $500 tow fee to your bill (mind you, I have AAA, and the damn cop told me I couldn't wait for AAA, so of course they all gathered like the vultures they are, and one of them won the lottery, how friggin' lucky that dude was)... how much do independent tow truck drivers make a year, 200k, 300k? sorry folks, i guess you can tell i'm a little p!ssed right now, i wanted my titan for the meet this sunday, but, it aint gonna happen. guess what the guy said at the body shop; you can either pay that 500 and get reimbursed (on top of my 500 deductible - so add that up, i would have been shelling out 1k to get my titan out...fvck that, AIG is going to pay for it, and my rental - I'm not paying anymore than my $500 deductible, period!!). i suppose i have to wait until my dumb a$$ insurance agency cuts me a check to cover the tow fee. my adjuster totally sucks, she never answers my calls, she never returns my calls, the body shop guy is a pr!ck (his name is josh), this entire situation has really taught me a lot (that i'm dropping my insurance company as soon as everything is worked out and i have my titan back....AIG bites!!!). sorry for the guys/gals that wanted to see/hear my stereo system on sunday (i wanted to display it, b/c i want to sell it).... if the wife doesn't let me drive the 350Z, i'm not pulling up in that POS chevy impala that i have now. i really am in the wrong profession - i should check in to becoming a tow truck driver ASAP!!!!

one last thing that I'll spread to all of you... don't go with AIG insurance, getting AAA has it's advantages but if your being told by a cop that probably gets a little pay from these guys (you know, under the table - i'm sure that happens) and that i can't get AAA to pull it out for free (b/c i've been a member to AAA for about 10 years) and have been paying my monthly membership fees). and the last one, houstonians, God forbid, if you're ever in a accident, don't have your Titan taken to Baytown Auto Body Shop (not that you would - it's out in BFE), and if you do get towed there, get a different person than a guy named Josh (he could give 2 s#its about what was going on)...

i'm going to beg my wife to let me take the Z.... i really don't want to show up in a chevy!!! i do have the hamburger patties that i need to bring, so, if i have to, i will bring the POS rental car (i'll just park far away from all the cool Titans)...

i promise, one last thing - they put a brand spanking new nitto terra grappler on the back passenger side - it makes the other's look like crap. i'm going to shop for tires, so, if anybody buys mine, they'll be getting a brand new terra grap, and the other terra graps aren't that bad....

you do know that you could have told them no. it is your truck and you get to decide who take it and were it goes. hell the last wreck my wife had we waited until my brother could get there from across town

That is called a police consent tow and the prices do go way up versus just calling a wrecker cause you broke down.I use to drive a wrecker and I loved it when the cops asked for a wrecker cause that was more money in my pocket,or like you said (wining the lottery) especially at an accident.

I was surprised at the amount of Titan's that showed up.... We had about 20, and my rental... I have a lot of great pictures, and will post them after I watch some football... It was great meeting some new faces, and talking with the others that I know.... It was a bit humid outside, and we could have used a breeze, but, all-in-all it was a great time. Be on the lookout of my pics.... I believe AgTitan06 has some quality pictures of the Impala :-)...

The wife and I had a great time today meeting everyone and seeing everyone that we already knew. I was suprised at the turn out due to the location. We should try and do something like that on a regular basis if there's going to be a turn out like that.

It was a very nice suprise to see some of the usual suspects, not to mention some of the notorious "NoShowers"..... We had a great turnout, and the rain just made it more surreal. This is a great place to think about for futrue meets.... We need to make sure everyone is down with the "No Booze" thingy and brings something to hold beverages of adult types in so the GolfCart Guru leaves us alone. LOL.... I might bring my motorhome to the next one though. So all the wives and children have a potty place closer.

yea, i got here about 4:30... Apparently, I had just missed a high-speed chase through College Station!!

latest: i should be getting my titan by wednesday. the insurance company is going to cut a check and mail it to the body shop (which should get there no later than wednesday).. after that, i have to sadly part from my impala, it surely will be missed!!!
