It's a nice little track, traction isn't that great though...but no big deal. My buddys both have ss silverados an one has a v max 4x4 but so far my titan has come out on top!

Where exactly is it at? If its not to far from my place, I can schedule a little thing with my truck crew to go up and play.

Sorry for taking so long, the next race is on the 21st. I'll be there, tonight was awesome, set a new best 9.32@72.3mph with a .512 reaction time an 2.01 60ft. My drag radials were hooking up tonight! Next race we need to get the Titans down there!! There are plenty of silverados to go around

Good times!!! With that 1/8 mile time you should be running about 14.5/6 in the 1/4 mile!!

thats what hope! I really feel it dropping off at the end of the track, ill be buying headers an cams shortly so that will take care of that problem. But i couldn't be happier with my times, all the other truck guys can't believe it. I even finally got to run a 350z, had a length on him at the 60' an never looked back.

I love it, the only thing i don't love is how racing makes me want to spend more an more to make it faster!

Your system overal is fairly similar to mine..however I have headers.....My 1/8 mile trap speeds are over 75...so that's what you have to look forward too!!!!

Oh...Oh.....then there's Osiris!!!! I should be in the 8's this racing season in the 1/8 mile!!

Uprev has been a life saver, before i had it i would bog off the line everytime, i think my best without it was 9.8. First time out with a tune was 9.5 so it was money well spent. As a comparison, my buddy has a 06 vmax 4x4 with long tubes, tune, exhaust, intake an my same drag radials and his best is a 9.35@75 so I'm really happy with my results so far.

I really like that 60ft. You will make it to the 1.9 60ft club this Fall for sure.

Thanks i hope so, i really worked hard on making sure ill have traction before going with more power. Friday it was just working flawlessly, short burnout then quickly stage, power brake to about 2500, then mash it. I would really like some adjustable shocks out back to see if i can get it too hook even harder.

That high of a stall has never really worked well for me. I typically stall to 1200.

Did you do the burn out mod?

SDfast-titan
09-08-2007, 10:57 PM
yeah i have the burnout mod, but i have used a lower stall but it slowed my 60'. I found that when i stall high as long as i did a good burn out i would jump right off the line with no problems at all. my 60's were almost all from 2.01 to 2.09 being the slowest and i had about 10 runs.

man, I miss that track. I remember when it was 20 to run all night!!!!!!!!!!! hell, out here in AZ its 10 for unlimited runs, and its a real track, and full 1/4 mile...the Q is just a parking lot turned race trace. thats why tractions rough. our trannies can stall that high without problem?
