Hey guys I'm on Vacation on the week of the 6th so thats a good as time as any for a Tulsa Oklahoma meet. Now we need suggestions of locations to meet and if anybody has some connections on a location for the meet just post them in the thread. I will be bringing my laptop for the 2* advance so if your needing one please attend. I might have a little charge $$$$ but not sure yet, but donations are always welcome.

So how about it guys lets toss around some ideas and lets make this meet as good as the last one in OKC. Also anyone that wants to take a ride in a PGM Uprev tuned truck my keys are always willing :D

Are there any good places around Keystone Lake like Walnut Creek State Park or Keystone State Park that would be a good location?? I've only been to the White Water Park for offroading and haven't spent anytime checking out the other areas.

Hey guys let those ideas start rolling in I'm looking at parks in the Tulsa area for the meet and also there several car shows going on that weekend just need ideas of what you guys wanna do :D

Edit also just found out that Tulsa Raceway Park will be hold Midnight Drags on the 6th

Car Shows and Drag Races are always nice. They're a whole lot better with more than 3 people though. :D

Ive sent out alot of PM's to the Oklahoma members from the last meet in OKC. Soonertitan said that he would love to come to the meet but the military is calling that weekend.

Guess we'll see who responds. I really appreciate and like the idea of joining the DFW meet but that'll be a little too far for me on that weekend.

I stand corrected. My military duty is usually the first weekend of the month. However, the 6th is a holiday weekend for government employees. I have military duty the weekend after. I should be able to make it. I'll have to check with my domestic commander first.

Hey guys, sorry I didn't respond to this sooner..get it? Sooner. Anyways, I'm not on as much as I have been but a meet in Tulsa sounds like a great idea to me. You can mark me down as tentative for now, gotta find out what's going on with the flying schedule that weekend. I do have to say that I'm a little disappointed that I can't make the DFW meet that weekend though. I'd really like to return the favor...that and there's nothing wrong with picking up some real beer while I'm down there right? Keep us posted.

I like the idea of the drags. That will give me an excuse to get the wife to let me go and get her out there plus see some realy fast titans seeing as mine is just a big slow 4x4. If we are going to meet somewhere beforehand and do some stuff we should find a place that has some 4x4 oppurtunities for us that have a 4x4. Let me know guys. I have never been to a meet and would really like to attend one but can't make it too far.

yep sounds good to me. But I need to know as soon as possible so I can ask off for work. I usually work all day Saturday so I need to tell them I need off. so hopefully everyone else will chime in so we can figure out a place to have it and figure out what is needed and who all is going.

So it sound like the consinsus is Cookout and drags so Baja can you help on the cookout location and Ill call Tulsa Raceway Park on Thursday to see what we need to run.

i might run. debating it cause i only have the airbox mod with a K&N filter and a 18" magnaflow. i'd probably get wooped!

Well I dont have a ton of mod but I have K&N Series 77 intake , PGM, JBA cat back, Truetrac and Uprev.

Hopefully! There is a place called Loving Park on Mingo inbetween Admiral and Pine. its not to far away from the strip. ill keep looking but let me know on that place. never been there though.

I can also drive by the other park on Admiral and Mingo and check it out. I'll also check out Woodward Park. It's at 21 between Utica and Peoria. I don't remember seeing grills there, but I'll check.

Oh yea, I won't be able to spend the entire day with you guys and I probably won't make the drags. I have to work Fri and Sat Night so gotta sleep sometime Sat. and be at work at 8 Sat night. Sucks.

hey guys any update on this stuff. I need to try and get off work for it. And what about some of the lakes around here. I know most of them have picnic areas. And if we happen to pick the right one mybe some of us 4x4's can hace somewhere to play.

Sorry guys for the late update but on Thursday ill call the Lafortune park to see what a reservation would cost Ive been on Jury Duties this week. If anyone has any other ideas just let me know. Also the TRP cost to drag is 20 bucks I was there this last Friday and ran the truck just make sure if you want to go that you have some jeans cause shorts are not allowed. Next update will be on Thursday. :D

Man I was going to go out there this weekend then decided to go out to eat and come home a and watch a movie. The one time I want to go out there and dont another titan shows up. That makes me sad. I guess I will just have to start going with my gut.

Yea it was really fun I had a great time I was able to get 5 time skips times were kinda low due to the high DA and running full tank of gas and full street trim but the truck was very consistent not matter how quick I got off the line. Also got a email back from the track today and its 15 buck to run not 20 and if we need any more info Ive got a number now. So this Thursday ill call about the park and get some $$$ numbered out and the rest is just to set a time for the meet.

Sorry that is so far north of Tulsa but we have a pavilion and grills for food and the times that we are down for are from 10am to 6pm on Oct 6th

I lost the argument!

Well my Domestic Commander (Sherri) and I have been tossing around the idea of sneaking away for a romantic, kids-free weekend because this is a holiday weekend for us. I mentioned spending the weekend in Tulsa at the Marriot and maybe going to the meet. I guess she doesn't find beer, BBQ and trucks as romantic as I do. We're going to Branson Friday morning and coming back on Monday. Think about me while you guys (and baja) are performing the UpRev mods and sucking down cold ones. I'll probably be lost somewhere in the quilt store chasing down my wife and trying to keep my checking account in the black.

i am skipping out on a wedding for this, boy it was a toss up wedding , bbq , well the bbq won, honor , obey , sickness, health, 23 years later ( honor , disobey, rebell , love , cherish, & selective hearing ) hahahah on a more positive note she accepts me for me and I for who she is (looking forward to another ? of years ..)

I'm on call this weekend but mapped out the nearest Starbuck's HotSpot and arranged for Saturday access to our Tulsa office if needed. I waited until lunch today to tell the Wifey (to shorten the wrath) so I'm good to go now. :D

She wants to go too so I made it clear that we're leaving before 9:30 this time, no waiting. We'll see how well that goes. :rolleyes:
