hey guys, what's going on. the other day i noticed that every time i slow down right before a stop my rpm goes up and down/plays. very slighty though. when i'm fully stopped, it's settled. is it normal? i'm not concerned about about, but thought i'd ask. could my flowmaster muffler hvae anything to do with it?
Probably the transmission downshifting. Nothing to worry about.

I love this tranny. You're probably seeing a downshift. One of the first things I noticed after I got my truck (besides the power 8) ) is that when I go down a long hill, and I'm hitting the brakes, it downshifts so that I get engine braking to keep the speed down. Never drove an American auto that did anything but freewheel when off throttle.

That's one of the first things my brother noticed in my truck as well. He said, "Man, this thing is geared low, huh?" :D Kinda made me smile! lol
