Thanks for the kind words and support!
When I get the car corner weighted, I'll let you guys know where the distrubution is... remember to look at how far back the engine actually sits, and how damn heavy that trans is ;P I'm more worried about traction at this point ;P
Thats where the car is at, I am actually a bit closer to finishing up the oil pan and all the engineering that had to go into making a front sump setup work...
The current plan is to have the car running in the spring... I'll try to get some pictures up of last weekend's progress as well... God, someone send me some VK56 stickers to keep me going, HA!

Fine craftmanship is evident in all your work. Do you do your own CNC work?
Nice.

I designed and built the intake myself, I had our CNC guys machine the flanges for me... If I had $ I would get it made out of plastic... But for now I can live with a little weight penalty. I am trying to get it flow tested as well... although with the future plans of a supercharger, I'm not that worried about flow at this point.
Right now I am at a point where I need to decide if I am comfortable with using the Earl's superstock hose inside the pan or not... I am doing some testing of the outer casing to see if oil attacks it from the outside since the oil lines are inside the pan. If I decide against it, I'll have some hoses made at the hydraulic hose place I use that can withstand the temps and oil bath...
I see most people are interested in more info on the intake, I will, at some point, post some dyno numbers... Maybe this spring. If I get it flow tested, I'll be sure to post that up as well.
You're hired, what's your hourly rate? lol.
Heh, the problem is finding that free hour... HA
I have one of these too::crib:
